Cable connection material: Cold shrink tubing method for 6600V cables

Let's tackle shrink back issues with easy and time-saving terminal processing materials! The 3M room temperature shrink tubing method has been confirmed to effectively suppress shrink back!!

Currently used terminal processing material. Does it have a shrink back suppression effect? What is shrink back??? It is a phenomenon where the cable sheath shrinks due to residual stress during cable manufacturing, exposure to sunlight, and heat cycles. When the shrink back phenomenon occurs, there is a risk of water ingress into the cable, and the shielding copper tape may break, potentially leading to ground faults. In recent years, relevant government ministries, local governments, and cable manufacturers have been raising awareness about measures against shrink back in high-voltage cables. Please consider adopting 3M's shrink back suppression solutions to prevent high-voltage cable accidents before they occur. It is especially recommended to implement measures for EM cables and fire-resistant cables.

Steel beam penetration hole reinforcement method High Ring III method [Freedom in equipment planning]

Relax the restrictions on the diameter and position of through holes to increase the flexibility of equipment planning! Standardize high rings and aim for the rationalization of steel frame production.

The conventional method for reinforcing through-holes in steel beams typically involves sleeve reinforcement or plate reinforcement. These reinforcement methods lack established evaluation criteria and conventionally restrict the diameter and position of the through-holes, resulting in limited flexibility in equipment planning. The High Ring III method has established strength evaluation formulas for the through-hole sections, allowing for the relaxation of restrictions on the diameter and position of the through-holes, thereby increasing flexibility in equipment planning. Additionally, by standardizing high rings and streamlining steel fabrication, it achieves cost reduction and shortened construction periods. This method has been validated through full-scale experiments and FEM analysis, and has received certification from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (Certification Numbers MSTL-0234, 0451, 0477, 0480, 0515) as well as evaluation from the Japan Building Center (BCJ Evaluation ST0095-09).

<Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Certified Material> Pile Head Joint Method "Joint Coupler Method"

Reduction in the number of pile head connection bars is possible! A pile head connection method with significant load-bearing capacity: "Joint Coupler Method."

- It is possible to enhance the strength of the pile head joint and reduce the number of reinforcement bars at the pile head joint. - It can minimize interference with the reinforcement of the superstructure. - The anchorage length of the fixed anchor can be shortened. The performance has been verified through full-scale experiments, and the construction method has received evaluation from the Japan Architectural Center (a public interest incorporated foundation), while the materials have been certified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Copies of the evaluation report from the Japan Architectural Center and the certification from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism can be downloaded from the Senkushia website. *For more details, please download the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Steel frame seismic reinforcement method "Smart Fit Method"

The concept is "minimizing the impact on productivity." Through refinement, it has become possible to perform non-welding work on existing structures when they are H-beams.

The "Smart Fit Method" is a construction technique suitable for seismic reinforcement of factories and warehouses built to the old seismic standards. In the previous Smart Fit Method, welding work was required when installing reinforcement columns, but with this refinement, it is now possible to perform work without welding when the existing structure's columns are H-beams. Additionally, we have achieved an improvement in the toughness index (F value) at the column base. 【Features】 ■ No-welding method No welding is achieved only when the existing columns are H-shaped steel. ■ Ensured productivity Construction can be carried out without stopping production (varies depending on construction conditions). ■ Low cost Total cost reduction is possible compared to conventional methods (example). ■ Space-saving The projection of columns is about one-third compared to conventional methods (example). ■ Shortened construction period A reduction of about 40% in the construction period is possible compared to conventional methods (varies depending on construction conditions). ■ Reliable performance Obtained BCJ certification - 283. *For more details, please contact us or download the catalog to view.

High shear strength high base standardization | Shear cutter high base method

The Shiakotta High Base Method is a product capable of handling large shear forces that could not be addressed by previous high base methods.

In the "High Base Method," which is the main product of Senkushia, there has been a challenge where, in the design of factories and warehouses, cases where braces are attached to columns sometimes result in insufficient shear resistance depending on the conditions. We have been working on solving this issue. As a result, with this product, even in cases where braces are attached to columns, it has become possible to transmit the shear force from the braces acting on the base plate to the foundation by adopting the "Shear Cutter High Base Method." 【Features】 ■ Adoption of base plates with shear cutters ■ Established design methods for column base types and V-brace types (special types) ■ Obtained evaluation from the Japan Building Center and certification from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism *For more details, please download the materials or contact us.

Bearing Diabase Method

Integrating the base plate, diaphragm, and reinforcement ribs! Contributes to the compactness of the foundation!

The "Bearing Diabase Method" is a reinforcement technique used for embedded column bases (side columns and corner columns) in steel-framed buildings. It employs a method that integrates base plates and diaphragms (made of cast steel) with cast-in reinforcing bars (twisted bars that serve as reinforcement) through a cast-in method. Since it does not involve multi-layer or multi-stage reinforcement, it reduces the complexity of construction and the overcrowding of reinforcement around the embedded columns compared to U-shaped reinforcing bars. Additionally, it minimizes interference with the main reinforcing bars of the foundation beams, helping to limit the widening of foundation beams and contributing to a more compact foundation. The Bearing Diabase Method has received certification from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism for materials (MSTL-0555, MSRB-0126) and a Better Living evaluation for the method (CBL SS008-22). 【Features】 ■ Integration of base plates, diaphragms, and reinforcing bars ■ Easier reinforcement work compared to U-shaped reinforcing bars ■ Simplified confirmation and management of the required number of reinforcing bars on-site ■ No welding work required on-site due to the use of mechanical joints ■ Improvement of overcrowded reinforcement around embedded columns and compact foundation design *For more details, please refer to the catalog or website, or feel free to contact us.

Smart Chronos II Method

Level adjustment of the joining hardware is possible! Work in narrow areas on the exterior wall can also be done easily.

The "Smart Chronos II Method" is a no-welding vertical brace connection method developed with the concepts of "no welding," "improved construction efficiency," and "shortened construction period" in mind. The selection of applicable brace sizes is easy due to the existing column sizes and the positions of the connection points. Since welding work on-site is unnecessary, it reduces the risk of fire. Additionally, the connecting beams ensure the connection's load-bearing capacity and reduce shear stress at the column base. It has obtained the construction technology review certification from the Japan Building Center. 【Features】 ■ Reduced fire risk through no welding ■ Shortened construction period ■ Reduced total costs ■ Simplified design process ■ Obtained construction technology review certification (BCJ) *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
