The "ecoweb(TM) geocell" is made from high-density polyethylene that is shaped into a honeycomb structure through ultrasonic welding. It is a construction method that fills local excavated soil or crushed stone to provide a constrained supporting ground. In the subgrade, a geocell layer effect can be achieved as a base layer when the CBR is below 3%, allowing for a thin layer application.
