The "46th Green Technology Training Course" will be held from July 21 (Tuesday) to July 22 (Wednesday)! This training course, organized by the Japan Green Technology Association, to which our company belongs, has been held since 1979 and will mark its 46th session this year. In this training course, lectures will be given on various approaches to solving social issues through slope greening, considering aspects such as biodiversity and the potential for carbon fixation, as well as the standards for quality and construction management of slope greening. Additionally, this event is planned to be applied as a CPD (Continuing Professional Development) program in the forestry field (last year's record: 9 hours). In recent years, following the implementation of slope greening work, we have received numerous inquiries regarding countermeasures due to the increase in damage caused by deer, such as feeding and trampling. A common concern among these inquiries is, "I don't know which method to choose!" With various countermeasure methods available, many people may find that the criteria for selecting them are not well established. In response, Rontai has created a "Design and Evaluation Manual" that aids in method selection based on our testing and performance data, as well as deer distribution maps. Additionally, we have included criteria and points for evaluating results after construction. We also offer free on-site surveys, so if you are struggling with wildlife damage countermeasures, please feel free to consult with us!
