The performance has been verified through full-scale experiments, and the construction method has received evaluation from the Japan Architectural Center (a public interest incorporated foundation), while the materials have been certified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. 1) Due to the effects of the D41 high-strength large-diameter anchoring anchor and joint coupler, it is possible to secure a large load capacity, making it suitable for use with high-strength piles. 2) If the same load capacity as conventional methods is sufficient, the number of anchoring anchors can be reduced, thereby minimizing interference with the reinforcing bars of the superstructure. 3) By providing an anchoring body at the upper end of the anchoring anchor, high anchoring performance is ensured. 4) This allows for a shorter anchoring length compared to conventional methods (the method of welding deformed bars to pile steel pipes). For example, in the conventional method with D38 and an anchoring length of 40d, the anchoring length is 1520mm, while in the joint coupler method with D41, it is 780mm. *The joint coupler method is a product developed jointly by Japan Pile Co., Ltd. and Senkushia Co., Ltd.
