Pressure injection provides friction resistance equivalent to anchors! 'SP Soil Nail Method'

It also accommodates ground where the wall cannot stand on its own. The use of small machinery improves workability and cost-effectiveness. A self-drilling rock bolt method that enables high-speed and labor-saving construction.

The 'SP Soil Nail' handled by JFE Shoji Tail One Corporation is a self-drilling permanent rock bolt method developed by its group company, ST Engineering Co., Ltd., which is suitable for ground where the borehole walls do not stand independently. It can be constructed using general-purpose machinery such as small boring machines and backhoe drills, and depending on site conditions, construction can be carried out while minimizing scaffolding. By adopting a unique "partial double-tube method" and "two-directional pressure injection," it achieves improved workability and stable anchoring performance. Compared to conventional double-tube drilling methods, it is expected to reduce labor, shorten construction periods, and lower costs. Additionally, it accommodates a wide range of ground conditions from sandy soils to weathered rock and soft rock. It is utilized in various sites for slope reinforcement and slope disaster prevention measures. Furthermore, with the revision of NEXCO's "Cutting Soil Reinforcement Construction Method Design and Construction Guidelines" in July of the 6th year of Reiwa, the approach to applying self-drilling types to permanent installations has been reconsidered. It is anticipated that there will be further opportunities for comparison and examination of the SP Soil Nail method as an option for permanent reinforcement in ground where the borehole walls do not stand independently.

Micro-pile construction method "SP Fix Pile Method"

Route pile construction method that achieves high speed, labor saving, and multi-stage hook effect.

The "SP Fix Pile" uses a hollow SP bolt as a center rod and employs a double-tube drilling method with a general-purpose drill pipe, which can also be applied as a micro-pile. Once drilling is completed, injection is performed through the SP bolt, and only the drill pipe is withdrawn, eliminating the need for rod retrieval or core material installation, thus enabling labor-saving and high-speed construction. Although it features a thick bolt structure with a diameter of 115mm or more, stable drilling and reliable shaping through pressurized injection can be achieved with a general-purpose anchor machine up to about 20m, making it effective as a long, thick bolt for countermeasures on slopes with extremely deep soft layers or embankment slopes. Additionally, when adopted as a compression-type pile foundation, placing a "mouth reinforcement pipe" at the head allows for the rational handling of horizontal forces and bending moments in addition to axial compressive forces. 【Features】 - It is a reinforcement soil method that does not introduce tension, eliminating the need for tension management. - Even if over-tension occurs due to seismic loads, there is no issue with tension adjustment. - The SP bolt is used as a center rod for double-tube drilling, leaving it in place, so core material insertion work is unnecessary. - It is a waiting-type reinforcement soil that does not require tensioning work. - The work process can be shortened, achieving high-speed construction.
