Here, we would like to introduce a case where we solved the concerns of a customer troubled by a leak. 【Concern】 We received an inquiry from a 30-year-old house with a floor area of 30 tsubo. It had been about 15 years since the last painting, and although the exterior did not appear to be deteriorating, the second-floor living area was experiencing leaks, causing distress. 【Investigation】 To investigate the leaking area, we checked the attic and the upper tiles and plaster where leaks might occur, one by one. After checking everything, we found that the leak was coming from the hidden ridge area. The cause was the deterioration of the plaster, which had lost its water-repellent effect, allowing water to seep through. 【Proposal】 Since there was an issue in the invisible ridge tile area, we proposed a reconstruction of the ridge tiles, including plaster, as a leak repair.
