Detailed analysis of seismic performance evaluation. The proven capabilities of SNAP through vibration control design!
We would like to introduce a case study of the vibration analysis tool "SNAP." Yamashita Design, Inc. is one of Japan's leading comprehensive design firms, responsible for the Kasumigaseki Building, the first super high-rise building in Japan. Recently, proposals emphasizing structural planning have become essential for securing contracts for the design of government and private facilities, with seismic isolation design becoming standard in hospital architecture and vibration control structures in office buildings. The need for response analysis using three-dimensional models has been increasing to analyze complex structures. Due to the impact of legal revisions and the need to adapt to advancements in analysis technology, maintaining and managing in-house programs has become challenging, leading to the decision to adopt commercial programs, with "SNAP" being one of the options. Since there are currently few case studies of its adoption, when creating models in SNAP, we verify input data and calculation results while working, and we have reached out to support with questions whenever doubts arise. The support staff are well-versed in the program's details, providing prompt and courteous responses. For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.
