We have released a system called @-Rex that facilitates the creation of pre-investigation reports for asbestos (asbestos-containing materials) as it has become mandatory to conduct prior investigations and reporting! Using Windows tablet devices, you can easily create asbestos pre-investigation reports by conducting document investigations, taking photos during on-site visual inspections, and assessing deterioration, all of which can be submitted online. Starting from April 1, 2021, prior investigations for asbestos-containing materials have become mandatory for all renovation and demolition work. It is required to create an asbestos pre-investigation report through "document investigations based on design drawings" and "on-site visual inspections," which must be stored for three years. Furthermore, from April 1, 2022, for renovation projects with a contract amount of 1 million yen or more, and for the demolition of buildings with a floor area of 80 square meters or more, it became mandatory to report the results of the asbestos pre-investigation to the Ministry of the Environment and the Labor Standards Inspection Office online. Additionally, starting from October 1, 2023, only qualified individuals such as asbestos-containing building material investigators will be allowed to create and report these documents, tightening the regulations on asbestos investigations and reporting.
