This property is a 29-year-old building that originally used galvanized steel pipes (SGP) for its plumbing at the time of completion, but over the years, it has been updated to use vinyl-lined steel pipes (VLP). However, due to the building's structure, the plumbing inside the framework remains galvanized steel pipes (SGP), which has led to the occurrence of red water due to corrosion. To address the red water issue in the water supply pipes and to protect the plumbing and extend its lifespan, an NMR Pipe Protector was installed. The NMR Pipe Protector costs less than one-tenth of traditional plumbing renovation work and can rehabilitate the pipes by preventing red rust from flowing out and converting it to black rust. In water quality tests conducted before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron ion concentration was 0.3 mg/l. However, about five weeks after the installation, it decreased to 0.01 mg/l, which is one-thirtieth of the original level, resolving the red water issue. Additionally, an endoscopic investigation revealed that the rate of blockage due to red rust in the pipes improved by more than 10% after one year and three months. These findings confirm that the rust prevention effects of the NMR Pipe Protector and the rehabilitation effect of converting red rust to black rust continue to persist.

Free membership registrationThis property is 11 years old, and the red rust blockage at the joint of the water supply pipe in the exclusive area has progressed to about 70%. To prevent further progression of the red rust blockage and to avoid future piping renewal work, we adopted the NMR pipe protector, which costs less than one-tenth of that. An investigation using an endoscope revealed that the red rust blockage rate in the toilet water supply pipe at the first joint before the installation of the NMR pipe protector was 69.8%. Twelve months after the installation of the NMR pipe protector, the red rust blockage rate decreased to 60.6%, showing an improvement of 13.2%. The significant improvement in red rust blockage due to the volume contraction associated with the black rust formation has been demonstrated, confirming the effectiveness of the piping rehabilitation due to the black rust formation.

Free membership registrationAt Hotel Serve Shibuya, galvanized steel pipes (SGP) are used for the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping, and there was concern about the deterioration due to red rust and potential leaks from the joints. Therefore, a red rust prevention and leak prevention measure, the "NMR Pipe Protector," was installed. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, water samples were taken from the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping, revealing that the water was light brown in color and the total iron content was 5.8 mg/l, indicating significant red rust corrosion within the pipes. Two weeks after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the total iron content in the water from the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping significantly decreased to 0.6 mg/l. In water samples taken four weeks after the installation, the water color had become almost transparent, and the total iron content further decreased to 0.5 mg/l. It was proven that new red rust was completely prevented in the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping, and the existing red rust had transformed into passive black rust. Moving forward, if the use of the NMR Pipe Protector continues to prevent external corrosion at Hotel Serve Shibuya, it has been demonstrated that all red rust in the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping will change to black rust, allowing this piping to be extended for the lifespan of the building. Naturally, leaks have been completely prevented thereafter.

Free membership registrationThis property has been in existence for 30 years, and the red rust blockage in the water supply pipe joints has progressed significantly. Therefore, the "NMR Pipe Protector," a device for preventing red rust in pipes, was adopted. When measuring the red rust blockage in the water supply pipes of Room A and Room B, it was found that before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, Room A had a blockage rate of 43.2% and Room B had a blockage rate of 50.9%. 【Red Rust Blockage Rate One Year After Installation】 Room A: 41.7% Room B: 50.6% 【Red Rust Blockage Rate Five Years After Installation】 Room A: 39.7% Room B: 49.8%, showing a reduction improvement rate of 8.1% and 2.1% compared to before installation, respectively. 【Red Rust Blockage Rate Ten Years After Installation】 Room A: decreased to 36.8% Room B: decreased to 37.5%, showing a significant reduction in red rust of 48% for Room A and 26.3% for Room B compared to before installation. From these results, it was confirmed that the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector halted the progression of red rust deterioration in the pipes, and the existing red rust was reduced to black rust with a volume of less than 1/10, demonstrating the effectiveness of pipe rehabilitation and red rust prevention.

Free membership registrationMoseley Hospital has two independent hot water systems: one connected to the storage tank and the other to the hot water header, with galvanized steel pipes used in the hot water piping. Therefore, to prevent red rust corrosion and leaks occurring in both hot water systems, NMR pipe protectors were installed in the storage tank piping and the hot water header piping. Water samples were taken from the hot water piping at five locations, and the average iron content in the water was calculated. Before the installation of the NMR pipe protectors, the average value was 13.824 mg/l. After 15 weeks of installation, it dropped to 1.3882 mg/l; after 31 weeks, it was 0.4762 mg/l; and after 49 weeks, it further decreased to 0.3428 mg/l. This significant reduction demonstrates that the NMR pipe protectors prevented the formation of new red rust within the piping and reduced existing red rust to black rust, which is insoluble in water and has a volume that is one-tenth of that of red rust. It has been proven that by continuing to install NMR pipe protectors, the hot water piping will have 100% of the red rust converted to black rust, thereby extending the lifespan of the building.

Free membership registrationThe hot water supply pipes used in Windsor Castle, owned by the British royal family and with a history of 900 years, utilize SGP pipes. To prevent red rust deterioration and extend the lifespan of the pipes, an NMR Pipe Protector was installed on January 24, 2007. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron content in the water in Room 107 was 3.32 mg/l, but 42 days after installation, it dropped to 0.007 mg/l. Additionally, the average iron content from two other sampling locations was 4.255 mg/l before installation, but decreased to 0.0105 mg/l after installation. This is significantly lower than the drinking water quality standard set by the UK, which is 0.2 mg/l. As a result, it has been demonstrated that the NMR Pipe Protector effectively prevents the occurrence of new red rust within the pipes and transforms existing red rust into black rust, which does not dissolve in water. By continuing to use the NMR Pipe Protector, the hot water supply pipes have completely eliminated internal red rust deterioration and, by preventing external corrosion, have become usable for as long as the building remains standing.

Free membership registrationA follow-up survey was conducted in a condominium in Fukuoka Prefecture, 16 years after the installation of the NMR pipe protector. Before installation, the joints of the water supply pipes in Rooms A and B were inspected with a fiberscope, revealing red rust blockage rates of 50.7% and 78.2%, respectively, indicating significant progression of red rust blockage and the need for early intervention. Consequently, the NMR pipe protector was installed in the water supply piping. One year after installation, a follow-up survey was conducted under the same conditions as before installation, and the red rust blockage rates for Rooms A and B were as follows: [One Year After Installation] Room A: 50.7% → 48% [5.3%] reduction improvement Room B: 78.2% → 74.1% [5.2%] reduction improvement [Sixteen Years After Installation] Room A: 50.7% → 41.2% [18.7%] reduction improvement Room B: 78.2% → 68.4% [12.5%] reduction improvement From the above reduction improvement rates of red rust blockage, it was demonstrated that the NMR pipe protector completely prevented the occurrence of new red rust and that the red rust blockage transformed into black rust with a volume reduction of 1/10. Furthermore, it was proven that as long as this condominium remains standing for another 20 or 30 years, pipe replacement will not be necessary.

Free membership registrationNineteen years after the installation of the NMR pipe protector, in a condominium in Sapporo, Hokkaido (a 9-story building with 110 units) that was 32 years old, the condominium management association commissioned an external investigation company to conduct an inspection of the red rust deterioration state of the water supply pipe joints. Ten locations were selected within the water supply pipes (pipe diameters 25A to 65A) in the pipe space from the 1st to the 9th floor, and a non-destructive inspection of the red rust deterioration state of the joints was conducted using X-rays. As a result of the X-ray inspection, eight out of the ten locations showed no signs of red rust deterioration at the pipe joints. The other two locations had only slight traces of corrosion, which were estimated to have occurred before the installation of the NMR pipe protector. This demonstrated that the red rust deterioration of the water supply pipes in this condominium has been completely prevented. Although the NMR pipe protector cannot prevent corrosion on the outside of the pipes, slight external corrosion was observed. However, by preventing external corrosion with rust-proof paint and other measures, both the exterior and interior can be preserved. *Images and investigation results are quoted from a report by a certain industrial inspection agency. Free membership registrationThe heat exchangers at the chemical plant were subject to overall calcium scale buildup, necessitating disassembly, cleaning, and washing every five months. When scale accumulated on the heat exchangers, it reduced cooling efficiency and negatively impacted product quality. After installing a "non-scaler" following the cleaning of the heat exchangers, there was no calcium carbonate buildup in the hot water piping even after five months, resulting in maximum cooling effectiveness of the cooling water and maintaining the lowest defect rate for products. Additionally, the need to stop the plant every five months to scrape off calcium carbonate from the exterior of the hot water piping was eliminated, leading to a decrease in product defect rates and an improvement in productivity. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registrationCalcium scale inevitably adheres to the interior of hot water boilers and similar equipment. To reduce the adhesion of calcium scale, traditionally, water containing calcium ions is softened using ion exchange resin before producing hot water in the boiler. The remaining calcium in the water crystallizes as insoluble calcium carbonate within the boiler and adheres to it. Traditionally, strong alkaline agents were added to the boiler to prevent the formation reaction of calcium carbonate. However, strong alkaline hot water is highly corrosive to metals, leading to corrosion and deterioration of the boiler itself, internal piping, and hot water piping, which shortens the lifespan of the boiler and connected piping equipment to around 10 years. The calcium scale prevention device "Non-Scaler" reacts the calcium in the water with free carbonic acid within the Non-Scaler, forcibly transforming it into fine particles of calcium carbonate that are then dispersed and flow in the water. Once calcium carbonate is converted into fine particles, it remains unchanged even under the high temperature and pressure conditions inside the boiler, flowing in its particulate state. Additionally, the influence of corrosion deterioration from strong alkaline agents is eliminated, making it possible to extend the lifespan of the boiler and hot water piping by more than double.

Free membership registrationThe cooling water used in open cooling towers for central air conditioning increases the calcium concentration in the water to about 7 to 10 times that of the make-up water (source water) due to evaporation, resulting in the formation of hard calcium carbonate crystals on the surface of the cooling fins outside the cooling tower, which reduces cooling efficiency. The non-scaler, when installed in the make-up water piping, transforms dissolved calcium hydroxide in the water into calcium carbonate nanoparticles, dispersing them in the water and preventing calcium from solidifying and adhering to the cooling fins of the cooling tower. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registration【Effects After Installation】 ■Prevention of damage to the impeller inside the cooling water pump due to calcium crystals ■Prevention of calcium scale solidification and adhesion inside the pump ■Reduction of line stoppage frequency from 1.2 times per month due to pump disassembly and cleaning, leading to increased productivity! Our factory was experiencing a situation where the line stopped every month (20 times/year) due to the strong adhesion of calcium scale inside the pump, resulting in internal damage and the need for disassembly and cleaning. After installing the "Non-Scaler," there have been no line stoppages for over six months. Upon checking the scale condition inside the pump casing, it was found to be soft and in fine particle form, rather than forming strong calcium scale. By preventing damage to the pump caused by calcium scale, we have not only avoided line stoppages but also achieved significant reductions in maintenance costs. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registration"Red Rust Deterioration of Air Conditioning Chilled and Hot Water Piping" Air conditioning chilled and hot water piping that has been in use for over 25 years experiences the loss of the zinc coating on the inside of the steel pipes within 4 to 5 years. As the surface of the iron comes into contact with water, red rust deterioration occurs, leading to red rust blockage. Simultaneously, this red rust flows into copper fan coils, causing further blockage and reducing the effectiveness of heating and cooling. Additionally, the accumulation of red rust within the heat source equipment shortens the lifespan of the device. As the red rust deterioration progresses within the piping, the threads at the joints can break off, leading to water leaks during strong earthquakes. Since air conditioning chilled and hot water systems are centralized, updating the piping requires hotels and inns to halt operations for more than six months. The cost of piping replacement can also be substantial, ranging from hundreds of millions to over a billion yen, and the damages incurred from the business suspension are significant. Therefore, there has been a demand for the development of technology that can extend the life of air conditioning piping without the need for replacement.

Free membership registrationToday, as the entire society is changing due to the new coronavirus, one of the most affected industries is the hotel industry. With a decrease in guests, inability to accept banquet orders, and restrictions on dining in restaurants, income has drastically reduced. When issues such as leaks caused by rust in plumbing due to aging buildings arise, the cost of necessary plumbing updates for repairs becomes extremely high, forcing hotels to consider borrowing from banks or selling the property. The NMR Pipe Protector, a plumbing longevity device, can reduce that cost to less than one-tenth. Even if a sale is considered, the amount will be deducted by the plumbing update costs that will arise in the near future. Hotels that are over 30 years old cannot avoid this problem sooner or later. The only solution to this issue is to compress plumbing update costs to one-tenth to one-fifteenth, extend the plumbing lifespan by over 40 years, and eliminate the need for long-term closures (which require at least six months for air conditioning plumbing updates) by introducing the NMR Pipe Protector. By using the world's only rust prevention device, the "NMR Pipe Protector," which transforms internal red rust into black rust, improves plumbing strength, and extends plumbing lifespan by over 40 years, plumbing update costs can be reduced by more than 90%.

Free membership registrationWater supply pipes and chilled/hot water piping generally require replacement due to aging deterioration. After 25 years, the chilled/hot water piping in hospitals can experience red rust deterioration, leading to blockages caused by red rust, which can then flow into copper fan coils and cause blockages, resulting in poor heating and cooling efficiency. Additionally, this red rust can accumulate within the heat source equipment, shortening its lifespan. In water supply pipes, red rust can develop at the joints, and as red rust deterioration progresses within both pipes, the threads at the joints can break off, leading to leaks during strong earthquakes. The NMR Pipe Protector prevents red rust deterioration, transforms red rust into black rust to improve pipe strength, and extends the lifespan of the piping. Since chilled/hot water is supplied through a central system, replacing the piping would require the hospital to halt operations for over six months, with replacement costs amounting to hundreds of millions to over a billion yen. The damages incurred from operational downtime are also significant, leading to a demand for technology that can extend the lifespan of air conditioning piping without replacement. The NMR Pipe Protector, a device for preventing red rust within pipes, has made this possible at less than one-tenth of the cost.

Free membership registrationArt museums, museums, cultural centers, libraries, and other places frequently visited by the general public and tourists use energy-efficient warm-type central air conditioning. The chilled water piping for this air conditioning is made of galvanized steel pipes (SGP pipes), which, after more than 20 years of construction, undergoes red rust deterioration. When the threads at the piping joints fall off due to red rust deterioration, leaks can occur from these weakened areas during earthquakes and other events. Additionally, red rust deterioration inside the pipes can lead to problems such as reduced heating and cooling efficiency and premature failure of the heat source equipment. The solution to this issue of red rust deterioration inside the pipes is the pipe rehabilitation device NMR Pipe Protector.

Free membership registrationAt the Yokohama City Waterworks Bureau, a demonstration test was conducted at the 20-year-old Tsurumi water reservoir's attached public housing to prevent the formation of red rust in the water supply pipes, thereby addressing the issue of reduced chlorine concentration in the water due to red rust. The test utilized the water supply pipe from the vacant bathroom of Room 102. The piping materials used included polyethylene-lined steel pipes in the shared areas and resin pipes in the exclusive areas, where red rust had formed at the pipe joint sections. Before the installation of the NMR pipe protector, the iron concentration in the stagnant water of the bathtub's water supply valve at night was 0.27 mg/L, with a residual chlorine level of 0.11 ppm at that time. Additionally, over the two weeks prior to installation (with water flowing for 3 hours each day), the amount of red rust accumulated on the faucet filter was 13 mg/L, indicating significant corrosion of red rust at the pipe joint sections.

Free membership registrationAre you aware? The lifespan of piping is said to be about 20 years. At first glance, piping is often overlooked because it is not visible from the outside, but like buildings, it continues to deteriorate over time. Furthermore, in recent years, the majority of equipment damage caused by earthquakes has been due to "piping within buildings," such as air conditioning systems. Sudden leaks caused by earthquakes can occur in multiple locations and result in significant damage... Once a leak happens, it requires a large-scale construction cost for "replacing the piping (piping renewal)." To prevent accidents before they happen, we recommend the NMR Pipe Protector! ★ By simply installing it on the outside of the piping, it extends the lifespan of the piping and strengthens the interior! ★ = Maximum Benefits = - The introduction cost is less than one-tenth of piping renewal. - Running costs and maintenance are "zero." - High safety that is also implemented in food factories and hospitals. Free membership registrationThe Yokohama City Waterworks Bureau confirmed an increase in residual chlorine concentration to prevent red rust and the associated reduction of disinfectant chlorine in the water supply pipe at the Tsurumi public office. Therefore, starting from November 5, 2012, a demonstration test was conducted using the water distribution pipe (100A) in the Hazawa area to prevent the decrease in residual chlorine concentration. In the six measurements taken from September 26 to October 30, prior to the installation of the NMR pipe protector, the average residual chlorine concentration at the planned installation site (Point A) was 0.55 mg/ℓ (with Point A's residual chlorine concentration set at 100%). However, at 50 meters downstream (Point B), the average was 0.41 mg/ℓ (a reduction rate of 25.45%), and at the farthest point, 125 meters away (Point C), the average was 0.23 mg/ℓ (a reduction rate of 58.18%), indicating a decrease due to the red rust occurring in the piping. Subsequently, on November 5, the NMR pipe protector was installed, and after more than three months, during the three measurements taken from February 19 to March 22, the average residual chlorine concentration at the installation site (Point A) was 0.61 mg/ℓ. At 50 meters downstream (Point B), the average for the same three measurements was 0.61 mg/ℓ (a reduction rate of 0%), showing that the decrease was mostly prevented. Even at the farthest point, 125 meters away (Point C), the average for the same three measurements was 0.55 mg/ℓ (a reduction rate of 9.84%), indicating a significant improvement in the reduction rate.

Free membership registrationThe Yokohama City Waterworks Bureau conducted tests to confirm the effectiveness of rust prevention and residual chlorine reduction in the Tsurumi Public Housing water supply pipe (first test) and the verification of residual chlorine reduction in the water distribution pipes (main water pipes) (second test). Based on these tests, they selected residential areas with a low number of water contracts and low water usage to determine how little water usage is acceptable for the application of the NMR Pipe Protector. In March 2016, they used a 50A water branch pipe and chose the Teramae 2-chome area and the Konan Chuo area, which have a small number of households, to conduct tests on the rust prevention and residual chlorine reduction effects of the NMR Pipe Protector. The guideline for demonstrating the rust prevention effect of the 50A piping requires a daily water usage of about 15 tons, which is needed for approximately 30 households. In contrast, in the Teramae 2-chome area, there are only 18 households downstream of the sampling location, while in the Konan Chuo area, there are only 3 households downstream of the sampling location. In both areas, the minimum water usage required for the NMR Pipe Protector to function effectively could not be secured, and therefore, its effects were not clearly observed. It was determined that the application of the NMR Pipe Protector in the Teramae 2-chome area and the Konan Chuo area was unsuitable, and the verification of the rust prevention effect of the NMR Pipe Protector, along with the associated residual chlorine reduction effect, was concluded as there were no suitable locations for the NMR Pipe Protector in areas other than these two.

Free membership registrationThis facility has been in operation for 22 years, and significant corrosion has occurred within the piping, leading to the necessity for pipe replacement due to leaks. However, it was impossible to carry out water outage work because it supplies chilled and hot water to four buildings, including commercial facilities within a large-scale complex. As a countermeasure, we installed the pipe rehabilitation device "NMR Pipe Protector." After installation, there have been no occurrences of leaks, and regular mass analysis results of the black rust in the pipes have demonstrated that red rust is being prevented and pipe rehabilitation through black rust formation has been proven. The amount of black rust before the installation of the "NMR Pipe Protector" was 2.2%, which increased to 72.9% after 12 months and 91.7% after 45 months, proving the anti-rust effect within the pipes. If we continue to use the "NMR Pipe Protector" in the future, pipe replacement will not be necessary as long as external corrosion does not occur.

Free membership registrationDue to significant concerns about the corrosion of the cooling water piping, we installed the "NMR Pipe Protector" when the facility was 43 years old as a countermeasure. Analysis of the amount of black rust after installation demonstrated that the "NMR Pipe Protector" effectively prevents the progression of red rust and promotes the formation of black rust. The amount of black rust before installation was 2.0%, but it increased to 48.2% after 10 months of installation, confirming the reduction of red rust to black rust. If we continue to use the "NMR Pipe Protector" in the future, this piping will not require replacement as long as external corrosion does not occur.

Free membership registrationDue to significant concerns about the corrosion of the hot water piping in this facility, an "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed as a countermeasure when the building was 38 years old. Analysis results of the amount of black rust after installation demonstrated that the "NMR Pipe Protector" effectively prevents the progression of red rust and promotes the formation of black rust. The amount of black rust before installation was 0.9%, but it increased to 16.9% after 6 months of actual operation, proving the reduction of red rust to black rust. In the future, if all the red rust in this piping turns into black rust, piping replacement will not be necessary as long as external corrosion does not occur.

Free membership registrationCity, University of London is one of the famous universities located in North London, and it uses SGP for its air conditioning hot water piping. The piping in buildings over 40 years old was experiencing red rust corrosion. To completely protect the piping from red rust corrosion, NMR pipe protectors were installed. Before installation, the iron content in the water due to red rust was 3.407 mg/l, but two weeks after installation, the iron content decreased to 0.084 mg/l. This demonstrated that the NMR pipe protectors prevented the occurrence of new red rust in the piping and reduced existing red rust to inert black rust. With the conversion of red rust to black rust, the piping was completely protected from red rust corrosion, allowing the air conditioning hot water piping to be usable for over 40 years. ▼For more details, please see the related link▼

Free membership registrationChrist's College, Cambridge University, originated from God's House, which was established in 1437, and was rebuilt and opened as Christ's College in 1505 at nearly the same location. It is also famous for producing numerous notable alumni, including Charles Darwin, the author of "On the Origin of Species." The university's air conditioning hot water piping has been plagued by issues related to red rust, and although sacrificial anodes were introduced in 2008 as a countermeasure, the progression of red rust did not stop. Additionally, while a rust inhibitor was administered annually, there was no change in the iron content of the water before and after its use, and concerns were raised about the potential effects of the rust inhibitor on human health. Therefore, to remove red rust and single-celled bacteria and to maintain the strength of the piping, an NMR pipe protector was installed on July 31, 2013, in the air conditioning hot water piping (return pipe) of the Todd Building on the university campus. The iron content in the water, which was 43.81 mg/l before installation, decreased to 17.95 mg/l three weeks after installation. As October arrived and the air conditioning hot water system operated at full capacity, the iron content continued to decrease, reaching 0.5195 mg/l by August 5, 2014, 52 weeks after installation, which is about one-eighty of the original level.

Free membership registrationTo demonstrate the rust prevention effect of the NMR pipe protector, it is a condition that a certain amount of water flows within the piping. In the Konan Chuo area, where the rust prevention effect test was conducted, the minimum water usage for a 50A pipe was 4.4 tons per day, but only three households used this water, resulting in a total water usage of 1 ton per day (with an average usage of 350 liters per household), which is very low. In the Teramachi 2-chome area, the number of households using water for each branched pipe with a diameter of 50A was six and eight, respectively, with the six households using about 2 tons of water per day and the eight households having a total water usage of just under 3 tons per day. Due to insufficient water usage, a clear rust prevention effect could not be confirmed. However, in the Tsurumi Public Housing and Hazawa area, where similar verification tests were conducted, the conditions were met. In Tsurumi Public Housing, the red rust in the water supply pipe decreased from 0.27 mg/l to 0.12 mg/l six weeks after the installation of the NMR pipe protector, and an increase in residual chlorine concentration, which had been reduced due to red rust, was confirmed. In the Hazawa area, the residual chlorine concentration, which had decreased by 45.3%, improved significantly to a reduction of 13.6%. The Yokohama City Waterworks Bureau has concluded the tests as there are no more suitable locations to further test the rust prevention effect of the NMR pipe protector.

Free membership registrationAt a certain hotel, #HO, when it was 25 years old, significant red rust corrosion had progressed in the vinyl-lined steel water supply pipes, raising concerns about leaks from the joints. Therefore, a red rust prevention and pipe longevity device called "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. Before installing the NMR Pipe Protector, a white filter was attached to the water supply faucet, and after running water for five days, the filter turned brown due to red rust generated inside the water supply pipes, revealing that the iron content captured was 11 mg/l, indicating that the red rust corrosion in the pipes was quite advanced. One month after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, a white filter was attached at the same location and under the same conditions as before installation, and the captured iron content significantly decreased to 1.3 mg/l. This demonstrated that the red rust inside the pipes had transformed into black rust, which does not dissolve in water. If the NMR Pipe Protector continues to be used, all red rust inside the pipes will change to black rust, and it has been verified that the cost will be less than one-fifth of the pipe replacement work, allowing the pipes to last until the building's lifespan. Naturally, leaks will also be completely prevented.

Free membership registrationAt a certain hotel, due to significant red rust corrosion in the hot water supply pipes made of heat-resistant vinyl-lined steel, which had been in use for 31 years, there were concerns about leaks from the joints. Therefore, a red rust prevention and pipe longevity device called "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, a white filter was attached to the hot water faucet, and after six days of water flow, the filter turned brown due to red rust generated in the hot water pipes, revealing that the iron content captured was 150 mg/l, indicating that red rust corrosion in the pipes was quite advanced. One month after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, a white filter was attached at the same location and under the same conditions as before, and the captured iron content decreased to 140 mg/l. Two months after installation, the iron content due to red rust further decreased to 17 mg/l, and the red rust in the pipes transformed into black rust that does not dissolve in water, demonstrating the rust prevention effect and longevity of the hot water supply pipes. At hotel #IP, it has been verified that if the use of the NMR Pipe Protector continues, all red rust in the air conditioning chilled water pipes will change to black rust, and the cost will be less than one-fifth of the pipe replacement work, allowing the pipes to last until the building's lifespan. Naturally, leaks have been completely prevented since then.

Free membership registrationAt Hotel #RF, which was built 38 years ago, significant red rust corrosion of the vinyl-lined steel water supply pipes had progressed, leading to leaks from the joints. Therefore, a red rust prevention and pipe longevity device called the "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, a white filter was attached to the water supply faucet, and after running water for four days, the filter turned brown due to the red rust that had developed inside the water supply pipes, revealing an iron content of 40 mg/l, indicating that the red rust corrosion in the pipes was quite advanced. One month after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, a white filter was attached at the same location and under the same conditions as before, and the iron content decreased to 23 mg/l. After six months of installation, the iron content further decreased to 14 mg/l, and the red rust inside the pipes transformed into black rust that does not dissolve in water, proving the rust prevention effect and longevity of the hot water supply pipes. At Hotel #RF, it has been verified that if the use of the NMR Pipe Protector continues, all red rust in the air conditioning chilled and hot water pipes will change to black rust, and the cost will be less than one-fifth of the pipe replacement work, allowing the pipes to last until the building's lifespan. Naturally, leaks have been completely prevented since then.

Free membership registrationThe Legend Hotel Saigon is a building that is 7 years old and used galvanized steel pipes (SGP) for its water supply piping. Due to the high sulfur content in the water supplied by Ho Chi Minh City, red rust corrosion in the hotel's water supply pipes progressed very quickly, resulting in red water coming from the faucets in guest rooms within 6 to 7 years after completion. There were also concerns about potential leaks in the future. To address the red water issue caused by red rust in the water supply pipes, a pipe replacement was planned, but it was costly and required a water outage, which would necessitate halting hotel operations. Therefore, a rust prevention and pipe longevity device called the "NMR Pipe Protector," which does not require a water outage, was installed by a major Japanese general contractor. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, very dark red water due to red rust was coming from the faucets, but 1.5 months after the installation, the water became almost clear, and complaints from the hotel ceased. The NMR Pipe Protector has stopped the progression of new red rust, and it has been proven that the existing red rust in the pipes has transformed into inert black rust that does not dissolve in water.

Free membership registrationAt a certain hotel, when it was 40 years old, the red rust deterioration in the zinc-coated steel pipes (SGP) used for air conditioning chilled and hot water piping was very advanced, and leaks were occurring at the joints. Therefore, a red rust prevention pipe extension device called the "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the amount of black rust in the red rust within the hotel's air conditioning chilled and hot water piping was 5.7%. However, six weeks after installation, the amount of black rust increased to 70.8%, which is a relative increase of 1242.1%, proving that the red rust that had developed in the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping was reduced to black rust. If the use of the NMR Pipe Protector continues in the future, all the red rust in the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping will be reduced to inert black rust with a volume of 1/10, and as long as external corrosion does not occur, leaks from the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping will be prevented, extending the lifespan of the building. Naturally, there will be no need to replace the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping.

Free membership registrationThe Royal Garden Hotel London, famous as a five-star hotel in London, was built in 1965 and currently has 400 rooms. Due to the iron pipes in the hotel's hot water circulation system, red water was occurring from the taps every morning. To prevent rust and leaks in the pipes and extend their lifespan, an NMR Pipe Protector was installed. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron content value due to red rust in the hot water pipes during nighttime was very high at 2.79 mg/l. However, 25 days after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, it decreased to 0.016 mg/l, and further decreased to 0.013 mg/l 36 days after installation, falling below the water quality standard of 0.2 mg/l set by UK water regulations. This reduction was achieved as the existing red rust in the pipes was reduced to black rust, which is an insoluble volume of 1/10 in water, thereby demonstrating the anti-corrosion effect of the air conditioning and hot water pipes and extending the lifespan of the piping.

Free membership registrationHotel Toyokankaku is a 42-year-old building, and due to the use of galvanized steel pipes (SGP) for the hot water supply piping, issues such as leaks occurred, leading to frequent partial updates of the piping. However, there was still a serious problem with red water in the hot water supply piping in the guest room bathrooms, so we installed the rust prevention piping longevity device "NMR Pipe Protector." Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron ion concentration in the circulating hot water was high at 4.3 mg/l, but four weeks after installation, the iron ion concentration in the hot water significantly decreased to 1.6 mg/l. Furthermore, eight weeks after installation, it dropped to 0.27 mg/l, completely eliminating the red water. From these results, it was proven that the NMR Pipe Protector converted the red rust in the hot water piping to black rust, preventing the red rust from leaching into the water and reducing the iron concentration due to red rust in the hot water. It was demonstrated that external corrosion was prevented, and by continuing to use the NMR Pipe Protector, leaks were avoided, extending the lifespan of the hot water piping until the building's lifespan.

Free membership registrationThe Mandarin Oriental Hotel is an elegant five-star hotel located in London. Due to the occurrence of red rust corrosion issues and concerns about leaks in the hot water supply piping (SGP) of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, two units of the red rust prevention and leak prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" PT-75DS were installed at the header section of the circulating hot water piping. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron content in the water within the hot water piping was 13.35 mg/l, indicating significant progression of red rust corrosion. Four weeks after installation, the iron content in the hot water within the piping decreased to 0.0043 mg/l, and further decreased to less than 0.004 mg/l five weeks after installation. This demonstrated that the progression of red rust within the hot water piping was completely halted by the NMR Pipe Protector, and the existing red rust transformed into insoluble black rust in a volume reduced to one-tenth. It has been verified that if the Mandarin Oriental Hotel continues to use the NMR Pipe Protector, all red rust in the hot water piping will change to black rust, and the cost will be less than one-fifth of the cost of pipe replacement work, allowing the piping to be extended for the lifespan of the building. Naturally, leaks will be completely prevented thereafter.

Free membership registrationThe Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel, part of the world's largest five-star hotel chain, the Marriott Group, was built in 1878 and has 160 rooms. Due to the use of galvanized steel pipes for hot water and water supply plumbing, very high iron levels were detected before the installation of the NMR pipe protector, with 6 mg/l from the hot water pipes and 3.46 mg/l from the water supply pipes. The deterioration of red rust in the pipes, including red water, was serious, raising concerns about future leaks. To eliminate red water from the water supply and hot water pipes, prevent red rust deterioration, and extend the life of the plumbing, NMR pipe protectors were installed in both the water supply and hot water pipes. Thirteen days after installation, the hot water and water supply samples taken first thing in the morning (stagnant water from overnight) were both clear, and the iron levels in the water had dropped to 0.007 mg/l, completely eliminating red water. The reduction in iron levels prevented the formation of new red rust, and it was demonstrated that the existing red rust in the pipes had transformed into a non-soluble volume of 1/10 of inert black rust. As a result, the formation of new red rust in the pipes was prevented, and the transformation of existing red rust into black rust confirmed the effectiveness of the NMR pipe protector in preventing red rust and extending the life of the plumbing.

Free membership registrationThe Millennium Hotel London Mayfair is a historic building located in the heart of London, overlooking Grosvenor Square, which was once the residence of the Duchess of Kendal in the 18th century. To address issues of red rust and leakage in the air conditioning hot water piping, the "NMR Pipe Protector," a rust prevention and pipe longevity device that does not require pipe removal or water shutdown during installation, was installed. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron content in the air conditioning hot water piping due to red rust was very high at 15.7 mg/l, indicating significant red rust deterioration and concerns about leakage. To prevent this red rust and leakage, the "NMR Pipe Protector" was introduced. Six weeks after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the test results of the air conditioning hot water showed that the iron content in the water had significantly decreased to 0.157 mg/l, completely preventing new red rust in the air conditioning hot and cold water piping, and it was proven that the existing red rust had transformed into black rust, which is insoluble in water and has a volume one-tenth that of red rust. If the NMR Pipe Protector continues to be used, it has been demonstrated that all red rust in the piping will transform into black rust, preventing external corrosion and leakage, thereby extending the lifespan of the building.

Free membership registrationThe Hilton Hotel Portsmouth, located in the city of Portsmouth, is a hotel of the globally renowned Hilton Group, known for its five-star rating. Built in 1981, it has 120 guest rooms. Due to the use of galvanized steel pipes (SGP) for the air conditioning and hot water piping, the hotel faced serious issues with red rust deterioration and leaks after 25 years. Additionally, the red rust reduced the heat exchange efficiency of the air conditioning equipment, necessitating regular pipe cleaning. However, the cleaning process caused holes in the pipes, leading to further leaks. To stop the red rust corrosion and leaks in the air conditioning piping, an NMR Pipe Protector, a rust prevention and extension device, was installed on December 9, 2005.
