Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce our construction achievements in the inspection work for the Kiso River Ohashi Bridge (downstream) and the Ibi Nagara Ohashi Bridge (downstream). Both bridges have an upper structure type of "lower chord simple steel Warren truss bridge," with 12 spans and 14 spans, respectively. It was necessary to complete the inspection work quickly, but the main structure posed obstacles, making it difficult to use bridge inspection vehicles. Therefore, we adopted a method of installing a "rack scaffold" movable floor on the high water bed and conducting the inspection work while shifting it for each span, progressing all the way to the opposite bank. When shifting the movable floor over the bridge piers, there was no need for road restrictions or barges, so there was almost no impact on users. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce our construction achievements for the installation work of the Namihashi Bridge. We utilized bolt tightening and painting at the main girder connection, and due to the lightweight nature of the scaffold and the reduction in work volume over the navigation route, we adopted the "rack scaffold." By pre-installing the running rails on the main girder at the assembly yard, the installation work for the running rails over the navigation route was limited to the connection points only. Additionally, since rapid travel was possible up to the tip of the next connection point, we significantly reduced the working time related to the scaffold over the navigation route. Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce our construction achievements in the bridge inspections of the Minami Bridge (a four-span continuous RC slab steel girder bridge) on the Hakodate-Mobetsu Road, as well as the Ono B Ramp Bridge and Ono C Ramp Bridge (both three-span continuous steel slab box girder bridges). In the case of inspection work using a bridge inspection vehicle, the Minami Bridge is in a provisional shared section, requiring alternating one-way traffic control, while the Ono B Ramp Bridge and C Ramp Bridge are single-lane ramp bridges, necessitating a complete traffic stop. To avoid the occurrence of these traffic regulations and to minimize the impact on road users, we adopted "rack scaffolding." Since the work was carried out from underneath the bridge during both installation and dismantling, there was no impact on those using the Hakodate-Mobetsu Road. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce our track record of repair and reinforcement work on the port bridge (2-span simple pre-tensioned PCT girder bridge). Since the intersecting property is a shipping route, we adopted a "rack scaffold" that allows the movable floor to be shifted outside the shipping route when not in operation. By utilizing the characteristic of lateral movement, we were able to minimize the impact on navigating vessels. Additionally, the bridge surface included an R-shaped batten section, which we were also able to use without any issues by taking advantage of its characteristics. Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce our construction achievements for the concrete spalling prevention measures at the intersection of the down line of the Tomei Expressway (upbound) and the Tomei Ashigara Bridge (PC3 span continuous cable-stayed bridge). The selection of scaffolding was carried out with a focus on ensuring the safety of the traffic on the main line during operation and the structural integrity of the cable-stayed bridge (including the stay cables), while also considering economic efficiency and constructability. Among the comparative proposals, the "Rack Scaffolding Method" was adopted due to its shorter down line restriction days and superior economic efficiency. Since the site is located at a point where it intersects with the down line of the Tomei Expressway, higher safety and reliability were required in planning and execution. In particular, measures against strong winds, earthquakes, and falling objects were implemented by installing additional hanging materials and conducting thorough protective boarding and netting, ensuring the required quality. Additionally, side scaffolding and cantilever scaffolding were constructed to match the shape of the underside of the main girder, achieving improved workability. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce our construction achievements for the repair work on the Nakahama Bridge (a two-span simple pre-tensioned PC hollow slab bridge). Due to the structural characteristics of the superstructure, it was necessary to avoid post-installed anchor drilling into the bottom of the girders, so we adopted a "rack scaffold" that eliminates the need for these anchors. By using this scaffold, we were able to install it without damaging the main structure of the bridge girders at all. Although there were intersecting properties that served as a navigation route, we were able to minimize the impact on passing vessels by moving the rack scaffold's movable floor outside the navigation route when not in use. 【Overview】 ■ Location/Prefecture: Chiba Prefecture ■ Client: Chiba City ■ Construction Company: Toa Construction Co., Ltd. ■ Start of Use: July 2012 ■ Local workers' experience with rack scaffold installation: First time ■ Presence of rack scaffold handling instructor: Yes *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce our construction achievements for the Kushikawa Bridge (PC three-span continuous box girder bridge) located between Sagamihara I.C. and Takaozan I.C. on the Ken-O Expressway. This bridge consists of two box girders between A1 and P2, and three box girders between P2 and A2 after the ramp merge, and it is a PC box girder bridge with intermediate cross girders between the box girders. The "rack scaffolding" was adopted as the support structure during the construction of the cross girders and as the scaffolding for the PC steel materials for the cross girders. Despite being a large-scale and highly challenging bridge with a width variation of 4m (27.5m to 31.5m) and a girder height variation of 5m (4m to 9.5m), we were able to assist with the scaffolding installation under the meticulous planning and appropriate instructions from the construction company. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce our construction achievements for the repainting work of the Portopia Bridge (a lower chord truss bridge) on the Kobe New Transit Port Island Line. Due to the large installation pitch of the hanging pieces on the underside and sides of the girder, setting up the hanging scaffolding was more challenging than usual. For this reason, we adopted "rack scaffolding" for this repainting work as well, given our experience in similar projects. Since there is a height variation of 5.6 meters (from 2m to 7.6m), we proposed a method of using a total of three units—one for the underside of the girder and two for the sides—configured as one set. Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce our construction achievements for the new construction work of the Isogo Elevated Bridge (Part 1) in the "Negishi Area" along National Route 357 (Wangan Road). The Isogo Elevated Bridge spans Yokohama City Road No. 181, and to shorten the period for the installation of the suspended scaffolding on this city road, we adopted the "rack scaffolding." At the construction yard beside the city road, we assembled and lifted a scaffolding that can cover the entire width of the city road (19m in the width direction × 24m in the bridge axis direction), which was later transported onto the city road during nighttime work. As a result of this adoption, the period for the installation of the suspended scaffolding on the city road was reduced to just two nights of nighttime work. This site was adopted not as a "mobile suspended scaffolding method," but as a method that "quickly constructs full suspended scaffolding by using rails to extend the scaffolding." *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce our construction achievements for the seismic reinforcement work on the upper structure of the Katashina River Bridge (a three-span continuous truss bridge) on the Kan-Etsu Expressway. The height from the ground to the bottom chord of the truss exceeds 55 meters, making it difficult to supply temporary materials from the ground using large cranes at all locations. Therefore, we transported temporary materials using a "rack scaffold." This helped reduce traffic restrictions on the Kan-Etsu Expressway caused by material transportation. There are sections of the bridge where the main structure height changes from 25 meters to 14 meters, but we were able to utilize these areas without any issues. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce our construction achievements for the new installation of the Takashu Viaduct (a steel 5-span continuous 2-main mixed girder bridge, and a steel 5-span continuous 2-main plate girder bridge) on the Tokyo Gaikan Expressway. To reduce the necessary traffic regulations on the national road during the installation of the full suspended scaffold, we adopted the "rack scaffold." By covering the area below the full suspended scaffold installation in advance, we were able to eliminate the need for traffic regulations on the national road. 【Overview】 ■ Location/Prefecture: Saitama Prefecture ■ Client: NEXCO East Japan ■ Construction Company: Tokyo Steel Bridge Co., Ltd. and Katayama Structec Co., Ltd. Joint Venture ■ Start of Use: January 2015 ■ Local Workers' Experience with Rack Scaffold Installation: First time ■ Dispatch of Rack Scaffold Handling Instructors: Yes *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce our construction achievements for the repair work on the Konpira Ohashi Bridge (an 8-span post-tensioned PC simple T-beam bridge) spanning the Hita Bypass (National Route 210). By attaching the running rails with chains from the railing posts at the top of the wall railing, we were able to install the "rack scaffolding" without using any post-installed anchors. Additionally, since the only work on the municipal road, which is an intersecting property, was the installation of the running rails, we were able to shorten the duration of the scaffolding installation work on the municipal road. 【Overview】 ■ Location/Prefecture: Oita Prefecture ■ Client: Kyushu Regional Development Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Oita River and National Road Office ■ Contractor: Kawakami Corporation ■ Start date of use: November 2014 ■ Experience of local workers in rack scaffolding installation: First time ■ Presence of rack scaffolding handling instructor: Yes *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce our construction achievements for the inspection work on the Omorikawa Bridge (Phase 1) (a five-span continuous post-tensioned PC box girder bridge) spanning the Omorikawa River on the Akita Minami Bypass (National Route 7). Due to the presence of a water pipe bridge and Phase 2 on either side of Phase 1, inspections using a bridge inspection vehicle were difficult, which is why we adopted a "rack scaffold." Since the installation spans consist of five spans, we installed one unit on the high water bed and conducted inspection work by moving it from span to span until reaching the opposite bank. When moving over the piers, there was no need for lane restrictions or barges, so there was almost no impact on road users. Additionally, by using brackets to suspend the running rails from the ground cover, we were able to install them without using post-installed anchors. Furthermore, by using a mid-level scaffold, we were able to accommodate a 2.7m change in girder height. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce our construction achievements for the repair work on the Hamana Ohashi Bridge (a 5-span continuous frame bridge <PC box girder>) on National Route 1, Hamana Bypass. As the bridge spans Lake Hamana and has a high superstructure girder height, the large-scale temporary scaffolding became a maintenance management issue. To address this, we utilized "rack scaffolding" for the bridge inspection and repair work. 【Overview】 ■ Location/Prefecture: Shizuoka Prefecture ■ Client: Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Chubu Regional Development Bureau, Hamamatsu River and National Route Office ■ Construction Company: Nakamura Corporation ■ Start Date of Use: May 2017 ■ Local workers' experience with rack scaffolding: First time ■ Presence of rack scaffolding handling instructor: Yes *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce our construction achievements using "rack scaffolding." This was utilized for concrete spalling prevention work on the underside of the beams and the outer side of the wall railings of the Rokujō Overpass, Hayashi Overpass, Fuseishi Overpass, Sanjō Overpass, and Kamitenjin Overpass, which span the Takamatsu Expressway in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture. Underneath the targeted bridges, National Route 11 bypass runs parallel, and there were many intersections, making for challenging site conditions; however, we were able to use the scaffolding safely until the completion of the project. Please feel free to contact us when you need our services. 【Overview】 ■ Location/Prefecture: Kagawa Prefecture ■ Client: NEXCO West Japan Shikoku Branch ■ Construction Company: Fuji P.S.
