It has become possible to cover all work for 4 spans (= 2 spans for both up and down lines) with a single "rack scaffold"!
We would like to introduce our construction achievements for the investigation and repainting work of the Morimoto River Bridge. Both the upstream and downstream sections feature a two-span continuous steel plate girder bridge, and by utilizing the offset of the bridge piers in the front and back, we adopted a construction method where the "rack scaffolding" slides horizontally to cross over the piers. As a result, it became possible to cover all work for the four spans (= two spans × upstream and downstream) with a single unit. 【Overview】 ■ Location/Prefecture: Ishikawa Prefecture ■ Client: NEXCO Central Japan ■ Construction Company: Hokuriku Highway Construction Co., Ltd. ■ Start of Use: February 2011 to March 2011 ■ Local workers' experience with rack scaffolding: First time ■ Dispatch of rack scaffolding handling instructors: Yes *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
