Development of ultrasonic control technology based on sound pressure measurement and analysis.

The Ultrasonic System Research Institute has developed measurement, analysis, control, and evaluation techniques for ultrasonic propagation states by applying feedback analysis technology based on multivariate autoregressive models. By organizing the measurement and analysis results obtained using ultrasonic testers and ultrasonic oscillation control probes as effects of cleaning, stirring, inspection, and processing, we have developed a new evaluation criterion (parameter) that indicates the appropriate ultrasonic state for specific purposes. Note: - Nonlinear characteristics - Response characteristics - Fluctuation characteristics - Effects due to interactions By referencing statistical mathematical concepts and developing original measurement and analysis methods that consider the acoustic properties of the target object and surface elastic waves, we are deepening our new understanding of the relationships regarding various detailed effects related to vibration phenomena. As a result, we have confirmed cases where nonlinear parameters (note) are very effective concerning the ultrasonic propagation state and the surface of the target object. Note: - Changes in bispectrum - Changes in autocorrelation

HPP-2000, which protects peripheral electronic devices and network equipment from the inrush current of printers.

The portable power HPP-2000 can issue certificates related to the Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Management Strengthening Act. When turning on copiers and printers or waking them from standby mode, inrush current occurs. Inrush current refers to a large current that flows momentarily, typically several times to over ten times the normal current. In the case of printers, inrush current may also occur during printing. When inrush current occurs, the power supply voltage fluctuates and becomes unstable, affecting PCs and network devices connected to the same circuit breaker. In the case of tenant buildings, the available electrical capacity is almost determined by the area of the rented space, so caution is necessary. After executing print processing, if the server suddenly stops, attention must be paid to the circuit breaker installed in the DX environment.

Ultrasound, Fine Bubbles, and Surface Elastic Waves - Surface Treatment Technology -

The Ultrasonic System Research Institute has developed (and published) technology to control the propagation phenomena of megahertz ultrasonic waves using ultrasound and fine bubbles/microbubbles and surface elastic waves. By optimizing the acoustic properties of surface elastic waves (in resin, steel, stainless steel, glass, ceramics, etc.) for the technology that alleviates surface residual stress using ultrasound and fine bubbles/microbubbles, we have developed methods for utilizing ultrasound tailored to specific purposes. In particular, there has been an increase in achievements related to ultrasonic cleaning, plating treatment, and the homogenization effect of liquids. Ultrasonic Probe: Outline Specifications Measurement Range: 0.01 Hz to 100 MHz Oscillation Range: 1 kHz to 25 MHz Propagation Range: 1 kHz to over 900 MHz Materials: Stainless steel, LCP resin, silicon, Teflon, glass, etc. Oscillation Equipment Example: Function Generator Ultrasonic Propagation Characteristics 1) Detection of vibration modes (changes in self-correlation) 2) Detection of nonlinear phenomena (changes in bispectrum) 3) Detection of response characteristics (analysis of impulse response) 4) Detection of interactions (analysis of power contribution rates)

Development of "vibration measurement, analysis, and evaluation technology" using ultrasonic probes.

The Ultrasonic System Research Institute provides consulting services on the technology of "vibration measurement, analysis, and evaluation" using its original product (ultrasonic sound pressure measurement and analysis system). Based on the achievements in sound pressure measurement and analysis of various ultrasonic devices since 2012, we have developed measurement, analysis, and evaluation technology related to the nonlinear phenomena of ultrasound. From the accumulation of data measuring, analyzing, and evaluating the dynamic characteristics of ultrasound propagating on surfaces, we have developed technology that can measure, analyze, and evaluate vibration states from low frequencies (0.1 Hz) to high frequencies (over 750 MHz). We can now measure, analyze, and evaluate various vibrations, including those from buildings and roads, equipment, devices, piping, automobiles, trains, and the moment of vibration when metal melts during welding or instantaneous vibrations during machining. This represents a new method and technology, and various application cases have developed from previous analysis results. In particular, we can continuously collect data for a standard measurement time of 72 hours, allowing for measurement, analysis, and evaluation of very low-frequency vibrations and irregularly fluctuating vibrations.

Ultrasonic Control Technology Using Glass Containers - Application Technology of the Ultrasonic System Research Institute Based on Ultrasonic Measurement and Analysis Techniques -

The Ultrasonic System Research Institute has developed an ultrasonic oscillation control probe based on the acoustic properties of glass containers. By confirming the basic acoustic characteristics (response characteristics, propagation characteristics) depending on the shape and material of each container, it enables the desired ultrasonic propagation state through oscillation control (output, waveform, oscillation frequency, variations, etc.). The key point is to evaluate the dynamic vibration characteristics of the system based on the measurement and analysis of sound pressure data. We are establishing and confirming new evaluation criteria (parameters) that indicate the suitable state of ultrasound for the purpose. Note: - Nonlinear characteristics (dynamic characteristics of harmonics) - Response characteristics - Characteristics of fluctuations - Effects due to interactions By developing original measurement and analysis methods that consider the acoustic properties and surface elastic waves of the target object, referencing the ideas of statistical mathematics, we have developed a new technology regarding the relationships of various detailed effects related to vibration phenomena. The specific conditions for oscillation control are determined based on experimental confirmation, as they are also influenced by the characteristics of ultrasonic probes and oscillation equipment. As a result, there are increasing examples and achievements demonstrating that the new nonlinear parameters are very effective.

Basics of Screw Manufacturing Technology [Cutting and Welding Processes] Will Be Taught. [Technical Document] First Industrial's Screw Manufacturing Technology [Cutting and Welding Edition] [Currently Available for Free].

Daiichi Kogyo is a specialized group that develops and manufactures fastening components, including both bolts and nuts. We conduct "forging," "machining," and "welding" in-house, accumulating production and manufacturing technology. While "forging" is the standard method for screw manufacturing, "machining" is also an important processing technology in screw production, especially when complex shapes or additional processes like drilling are required. Additionally, "welding" is a processing technology used in the manufacturing of fastening components to join two items together. Daiichi Kogyo possesses the manufacturing know-how necessary for "forging," "machining," and "welding" required for screw production. We can also perform "composite processing" that combines these methods. Our accumulated expertise in each processing technology allows us to design processes that leverage the unique characteristics of each method. We have compiled fundamental knowledge on screw manufacturing techniques, specifically "machining" and "welding." We will clearly explain each processing technology, manufacturing processes, and points to note regarding "machining" and "welding" in screw production, accompanied by images for better understanding. You can view related catalogs for free. Please take a look. Feel free to contact us with any inquiries.

Conducting aluminum melting tests using a hydrogen gas burner! (March 2024)

At Seiei Manufacturing, we are working on the development of aluminum industrial furnaces that can contribute to achieving carbon neutrality and a decarbonized society. Recently, we conducted aluminum melting tests using hydrogen gas burners in collaboration with customers aiming for carbon-neutral manufacturing. For the test furnace, we adopted the "SMH type" melting holding furnace, which generates extremely low amounts of oxides. The heat source consisted of a hydrogen-exclusive gas burner "EIS-H2" for melting and an electric heater for holding the molten aluminum, creating a hybrid configuration. In this melting test, we compared the "melting speed" and "quality of molten aluminum" with those of a previously conducted LPG combustion gas burner. We will continue to analyze the detailed test results. Please refer to the attached document for more details about this test furnace. Feel free to contact us regarding the implementation of the tests.

Dynamic control technology of megahertz ultrasound - Nonlinear control technology of ultrasound using multiple function generators.

The Ultrasonic System Research Institute has developed a completely new dynamic control technology for ultrasound by utilizing multiple function generators. This technology enables the control of nonlinear ultrasonic phenomena through oscillation with several different waveforms (sweeping). Note: Nonlinear (resonance) phenomena By generating harmonics of the 10th order or higher through original oscillation control and resonating with low-frequency vibration phenomena, the generation of high-amplitude harmonics has been achieved, resulting in nonlinear (resonance) phenomena of ultrasonic vibrations. By optimizing the ultrasonic propagation characteristics of various components according to their intended purpose, efficient ultrasonic oscillation control becomes possible. Through the measurement and analysis of sound pressure data from ultrasonic testers, this system technology dynamically controls the changes in surface elastic waves according to the intended application. Ultrasonic Oscillation Control Probe Measurement and analysis range: 1 Hz to 200 MHz Oscillation range: 0.5 kHz to 25 MHz Ultrasonic propagation range: 5 kHz to over 900 MHz (analysis confirmed) Ultrasonic propagation characteristics: 1) Detection of vibration modes 2) Detection of nonlinear phenomena 3) Detection of response characteristics 4) Detection of interactions
