These coatings are currently being developed for use in baking molds and pans overseas, serving as PFAS alternatives that do not utilize fluoropolymer resins. Compared to traditional fluoropolymer resins, this ceramic-based coating has a lower processing temperature, resulting in less thermal damage to the substrate during treatment and an expected longer lifespan. Additionally, while the hardness is lower than that of standard ceramic coatings, the film's adherence is comparable to that of fluoropolymer coatings.
