Case Study of Slope Deformation Monitoring System (2)
Safety measures at construction sites, investigation of slope collapses, and surveys at locations prone to landslide disasters!
This is one of the large-scale landslide countermeasure construction sites that occurred due to the Iwate-Miyagi inland earthquake in June 2008. Currently, green space construction, embankment work, and road improvement work are being carried out. This system was installed to monitor the safety of workers involved with heavy machinery and other equipment. The "strain sensor" is characterized by its ease of installation. It is lightweight and compact, making it easy to transport, allowing a single worker to set it up. The site has soft soil, which allowed for smooth penetration.
