Our company started as a trading firm specializing in optical communication devices and subsystems based on optical and electronic applied technologies, with fiber optic sensing systems as our core business as a VAR and integrator. We operate in a wide range of industrial fields, from infrastructure and aerospace to automotive, medical, and consumer sectors. The name "First Light" derives from "dawn" and "first observation light" (as in astronomical telescopes), and we quickly deliver excellent technologies and products with "light" as a keyword to the market. Our core competencies are in electronic circuits and measurement, as well as optical communication and measurement technologies. In collaboration with partner companies, we are expanding our business areas, including software development and sensing data analysis, to flexibly respond to customer needs. Utilizing our network with over 40 advanced technology companies, primarily in Europe and the United States, we serve as a one-stop shop covering not only product sales but also system construction proposals, consultations, and contract testing and evaluation services for optical devices.
