Characteristics of Sheath-Type Thermocouples (1) Despite having a very thin outer shape, the airtightness is extremely high, preventing erosion of the thermocouple wire by metal gases or atmospheric gases, thus prolonging its lifespan. (2) Because it undergoes complete bright annealing, it is highly flexible and can be easily bent by hand into a circle three times its diameter without the risk of breaking. Additionally, since there is no oxide film on the sheath, it can be sealed and welded as is. (3) It not only withstands high temperatures and high pressures but also achieves responsiveness to extremely rapid temperature changes.
