Noise Cut Transformer NCT-K

It is equipped with strict lightning protection and surge prevention.

The lightning surge that intrudes into the power line and reaches one coil of the lightning protection transformer first attempts to transfer electrostatically (through capacitive coupling) to the other coil. However, if the transformer has a shielding plate, this can be effectively prevented. Following that, a slower electromagnetic transfer (through inductive coupling) occurs, and there has been no lightning protection transformer equipped with a structure to prevent this; they have relied on added capacitors and varistors, which have been insufficient to protect low-resistance information devices and precision electronic equipment. However, a structure like the "Noise Cut Transformer" that prevents high-frequency magnetic flux from the lightning surge from crossing to the secondary side can also prevent this electromagnetic transfer. The NCT-K type takes advantage of this characteristic, featuring high voltage insulation that withstands the impact of lightning surges, excellent shielding with a very low impedance triple structure, and is designed and manufactured to easily divert powerful lightning surges to the ground, almost completely preventing them from escaping to the load side, making it a "Noise Cut Transformer for lightning protection."

[Case Study] POS System Development Company A

Company A, a manufacturer of POS system development, has been focusing on the spread of tablet-type POS systems and has delivered them to many stores. However, recently, complaints have been received from newly supplied stores stating that "malfunctions occur, making it impossible to operate." Company A conducted daily investigations to resolve this issue, but identifying the cause proved difficult, leading to a prolonged period of uncertainty. We estimated that the conductive noise transmitted through the power line was entering the tablet via the charger, causing the troubles. We proposed the "Noise Cut Transformer," which can eliminate power noise. After installation, the troubles completely disappeared, and normal operations were restored. Noise Cut Transformer NCT-R3-J6

The "Noise Cut Transformer" has improved noise attenuation performance, safety, and ease of use. It is a disturbance wave blocking transformer. Focusing on the fact that various noise disturbances are caused in different environments by high-frequency noise below 150 kHz, which is not covered by major EMC standards such as the IEC 61000-4 series, we have generally enhanced the noise attenuation performance, particularly in the range of several tens to several hundred kHz. Additionally, not only the conductive parts such as terminals and coils but also the core part is enclosed in a case to prevent contact, making it safer to use.
