Ground reinforcement work "Columnar Improvement Method"

The improved ground can maintain the strength to support the building for a long time!

The "Columnar Improvement Method" involves injecting cement milk into stable ground, compacting the soil into columnar shapes using machinery, and then constructing a foundation on top of it. Columns made of a cement-based solidifying agent (soil improvement cement) mixed with soil, referred to as columns, are created within the ground. By selecting the appropriate soil hardening agent, this method can accommodate improvement work for various soil types, including clay and sand. 【Process】 ■ Using specialized construction machinery, excavate to the planned depth while injecting the cement-based solidifying agent. ■ Reverse the construction machinery to mix the soil and cement-based solidifying agent. ■ Raise and lower the pit of the construction machinery to mix the entire area. ■ Completion is achieved once the material is fully solidified. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Foundation reinforcement work using aramid fibers and carbon fiber sheets.

A worry-free home building that knows no cracks.

Construction Process 1. Current Condition Survey and Diagnosis Check for cracks, subsidence, and reduction in strength, and develop a reinforcement plan. 2. Surface Preparation Remove dirt and deteriorated areas from the concrete surface (grinding) and perform treatment (Teflon TW-1P) to improve adhesion. 3. Application of Aramid and Carbon Fiber Sheets Adhere the fiber sheets to the foundation using epoxy resin (New Teflon TC-4101). 4. Epoxy Resin Impregnation and Curing Allow the resin to penetrate, solidify the sheets, and promote integration with the concrete.

Subsidance correction work | Low-noise ground reinforcement work to correct floor tilt during renovation.

Unexplained dizziness and headaches: Could the tilt of the floor be the cause? Restore the levelness of your home and a healthy living environment with a low-noise hydraulic jack method during renovations.

This catalog explains a sinking correction method that addresses the often-overlooked floor tilt during renovations, fundamentally improving residents' dizziness and health issues. Subtle floor inclinations caused by uneven ground subsidence can chronically stress the semicircular canals, leading to autonomic nervous system disturbances and headaches. Our company objectively clarifies the causes of subsidence through precise level measurements around the building and Swedish sounding (SWS) surveys. During construction, we carefully lift the building while monitoring its displacement in millimeter increments in real-time, using small hydraulic jacks. By employing low-noise equipment that minimizes operational sounds and vibrations, we can restore the level state within a short period without requiring residents to leave their familiar homes or move to temporary accommodations. Furthermore, by combining steel pipe pile driving into deep supporting layers and filling voids under the foundation, we thoroughly prevent future subsidence. We propose technology that enhances the structural safety of homes and realizes a safe and healthy living environment.

Settlement correction work | Identifying buried debris causing settlement in investigation gaps! Pressure plate renovation approach

Identify the subsidence of buried waste lurking in the gaps of the survey points! Revitalize the substructure before renovation with pinpoint underground exploration and pressure plate jacking.

When planning large-scale renovations or seismic reinforcement work, debris and buried waste hidden in the gaps of ground survey data can pose a hidden risk of uneven settlement, leading to floor re-tilting or fixture malfunctions after the completion of the construction. No matter how much the upper structure is renewed, if the foundation and the underlying ground's softening are left unaddressed, the building's inherent longevity cannot be achieved. At Geotech, we conduct hand auger drilling and pinpoint underground exploration as part of the ground and foundation diagnosis before starting renovations, visualizing the extent of buried waste and settlement factors as objective numerical data. In the leveling process, we apply a pressure plate jack-up method that does not require extensive demolition work, using small hydraulic jacks to achieve precise horizontal restoration in millimeter increments, leveraging the building's own weight as a reaction force. After lifting, we pressure-inject high-flow air bubble mortar (air milk) into the voids under the floor to equalize the ground pressure, and we encapsulate the damaged cloth foundation structure with high-adhesion epoxy resin to restore structural strength beyond that of new construction. Geotech's settlement correction work menu enhances the overall quality and durability of the renovation.
