Ground reinforcement work | Achieving environmental conservation and cost reduction with the no-dumping ETP method.
Ground reinforcement work
The ETP method achieves zero generation of residual soil and low noise and low vibration construction. It prevents soil contamination without using cement, contributing to reduced disposal costs on-site and shortened construction periods.
This document introduces the overview of the "ETP method," the definitive solution for "ground reinforcement work" that enables significant cost reduction and consideration for the site environment through no soil displacement and low noise construction. In urban areas and densely populated residential areas, ground improvement not only addresses building differential settlement but also faces major challenges such as noise and vibration during construction, inflated costs for construction waste disposal, and the risk of soil contamination from cement. The ETP method is a no-soil-displacement rotary-driven steel pipe pile method that uses a steel pipe with a disc wing and drilling assist bit attached to the tip. Since it does not use cement milk, there is no generation of surplus soil or industrial waste, dramatically reducing disposal costs and the hassle of truck transport. Additionally, it allows for low noise and low vibration construction with compact machinery, minimizing the impact on neighboring areas. With a total of 16 sizes ranging from a pile diameter of φ89.1mm to φ609.6mm, it boasts excellent sustainability, allowing for easy removal and recovery of piles in reverse rotation during future building demolition. Under the strict quality control of Geotech Co., Ltd., it provides ground reinforcement that balances environmental conservation and economic efficiency.

basic information
The ETP method is an environmentally friendly steel pipe pile construction method that has received certification from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and the GBRC Building Technology Performance Certification (No. 12-20). It offers a lineup of shaft pile diameters ranging from φ89.1mm to φ609.6mm (a total of 16 sizes), and the selection of high-strength 590N grade steel pipes is also possible. The tip wings are disc-shaped, allowing for smooth rotational penetration, with a maximum construction depth of 63.6m in sandy soil (130 times the outer diameter) and 59.43m (or 57.0m) in clayey soil. Due to the no-dirt and no-curing construction method, it allows for immediate transition to the next process after pouring, boasting high on-site efficiency.

Applications/Examples of results
It is ideal for new foundation reinforcement work for single-family homes in densely populated residential areas and urban settings, low- to mid-rise condominiums, commercial facilities, and factories. It demonstrates significant cost reduction effects due to zero industrial waste in narrow sites where space for soil disposal cannot be secured and in urban construction where truck access is restricted. Additionally, it is widely used around schools and hospitals where vibrations, noise, and soil and groundwater contamination must be absolutely avoided, in the construction of factories for companies that have obtained ISO 14001 certification, and in temporary structures and rental properties that assume pile removal for future site reuse.
