Ground reinforcement work | ETP-G method that is environmentally friendly with zero industrial waste emissions.
Ground reinforcement work
Rotary penetration construction that does not produce industrial waste or excavation residual soil! Ground reinforcement using the high-support ETP-G method that prevents soil contamination and contributes to the preservation of the global environment.
In ground reinforcement work that supports the long-term safety of buildings, preventing differential settlement accidents and balancing environmental considerations represented by the SDGs is a significant modern challenge. The ETP-G method provided by Geotech is a type of rotary driven steel pipe pile method that integrates disc-shaped enlarged wings and excavation assist bits at the ends of steel pipes. By adopting a rotary driving method, it demonstrates high penetration thrust and reliable end bearing capacity, robustly supporting everything from small buildings to various structures. The greatest strength of this method lies in its completely non-disposal construction that does not use any cement solidifying agents. Since no excavated residual soil, which would become industrial waste during construction, is generated, it significantly reduces the costs and hassles associated with residual soil disposal and transportation. Furthermore, it prevents the risk of soil and groundwater contamination from chemicals such as hexavalent chromium, and protects the surrounding living environment with low noise and low vibration construction. The applicable range accommodates buildings with three stories or fewer and a total floor area of 1,500 square meters or less, allowing for optimal design from a rich variety of steel pipe diameters and wing diameters. Our company provides high-quality reinforcement work that protects the global environment and residential safety, under construction management compliant with ISO 9001, with thorough data monitoring by qualified personnel.

basic information
The ETP-G method uses steel pipes with an outer diameter ranging from φ89.1mm to φ216.3mm (a total of 7 types), wall thickness from 3.2mm to 12.7mm, and materials STK400 and STK490. The tip wings come in a total of 45 variations with diameters ranging from 223mm to 620mm (thickness from 12mm to 22mm, material SM490A, etc.), allowing for adaptability to various foundation load conditions. The maximum construction depth is 130 times the pile diameter and no more than 19.2m from the ground surface where the reinforcement is installed. Applicable ground types include sandy soil (including gravelly soil) and clay soil, with reliable calculations of allowable vertical bearing capacity based on data from SWS tests and SRS tests.

Applications/Examples of results
This construction method is ideal for small-scale buildings such as single-family homes, multi-family residences, stores, and offices that are three stories or less (under 13 meters in height and under 1,500 square meters in total area). It is also widely used for reinforcing the foundations of various structures such as retaining walls, septic tanks, and billboards that are under 3.5 meters in height. Since it employs a rotary insertion method that does not use cement solidifiers, it is extremely effective in minimizing disposal costs for construction waste and transportation costs on site. Furthermore, it is perfect for construction projects in environmentally protected areas that strictly prohibit soil and groundwater contamination from chemicals such as hexavalent chromium, as well as for business owners engaged in environmental management.
