Ground reinforcement work | Completely prevent building settlement with the DM method that standardizes construction quality.
Ground reinforcement work
Uniform construction quality in bolt joints without welding. By utilizing advanced real-time data management and high-support-capacity leading edges, we build a safe foundation that prevents differential settlement.
GeoTech Co., Ltd. offers the "DM Method (Double Metal Method)," a small-diameter steel pipe pile ground reinforcement technique that achieves uniform construction quality on-site and advanced data management. In ground reinforcement work to prevent differential settlement of buildings, this method employs a weldless structure that bolts ductile cast iron tip wings to the steel pipe, eliminating quality variations caused by the skills of the contractor. It uses high-quality components that have undergone strict inspection at its own factory, ensuring reliable tip support strength with tip wings up to 3.5 times the diameter of the steel pipe. Additionally, during construction, a construction management device tracks and records rotational torque and penetration depth in real-time, ensuring reliable stop management and traceability. The method does not produce construction waste due to non-displacement rotary penetration construction that does not use cement milk, and it is environmentally friendly with low noise and low vibration. With trusted technology certified by GBRC performance certification (No. 10-01) and a nationwide construction management system, we provide the highest level of safety and reliable ground guarantees.

basic information
We have obtained the GBRC performance certification (No. 10-01) from the Japan Architectural Comprehensive Testing Institute, a general incorporated foundation. We employ a weldless structure that joins a STK400 steel pipe with a main axis diameter of 101.6mm to a ductile cast iron (FOD450A) tip wing using fixed bolts. The tip wing diameters are 3.0 times (290mm) and 3.5 times (350mm) the diameter of the steel pipe. The applicable ground conditions are sandy and clayey soils with an equivalent N value of 5 to 15, and the maximum construction depth can accommodate up to 130 times the axis diameter (13.2m) from the construction ground surface. We ensure reliable quality assurance through torque and depth data management using construction management devices.

Applications/Examples of results
It is ideal for reinforcing the foundations of single-family homes, multi-family residences, and small-scale stores with three or fewer stories, a height of 13 meters or less, a eave height of 9 meters or less, and a total floor area of 500 square meters or less. It can also accommodate the foundation reinforcement of retaining walls and structures with a height of 3.5 meters or less. Since on-site welding is not required and the quality of joints is stable, it is widely used in projects from major house manufacturers and design offices where uniform construction quality is required, regardless of the skill level of the workers, and where the traceability of pouring data is strictly demanded.
