The process will cover preparation, demolition, excavation, steel pipe driving, settlement correction using jacks, mortar filling, and restoration of the substrate.

This applies to corrections or maintenance when differential settlement occurs in buildings. Differential settlement measurements and a six-month observation period are conducted, and construction methods are selected based on the condition. If the soft layer is deep, methods such as steel pipe pile driving or moving the building and installing new piles are used. If the soft layer is shallow or if settlement has stabilized and corrections are being made, a pressure-resistant slab method is applied. Additionally, if settlement has stabilized and the goal is to maintain the current state, methods such as cement milk injection are employed, addressing various cases of settlement conditions.
