Ground reinforcement work | Optimized for the site with a wide range of applications and flexible design using the ETP method.
Ground reinforcement work
Wide applicability and flexible design capabilities! The ETP method, with 16 sizes of steel pipes and various wing diameters, is optimally suited for ground reinforcement of all types of buildings.
This document explains the importance of "ground reinforcement work" that caters to all sites, from small-scale housing to large-scale buildings, and details the highly versatile "ETP method." In modern diverse construction planning, a single-specification method cannot achieve optimal solutions in terms of cost and bearing capacity. The ETP method is a rotary-driven steel pipe pile method equipped with a disc wing and drilling assist bit at the tip, capable of supporting forces in both pushing and pulling directions. Its greatest feature is the rich lineup of pile diameters, ranging from φ89.1mm to φ609.6mm, with various wing diameter variations set for each diameter. Additionally, the option to select high-strength 590N-grade steel pipes is available, allowing for flexible foundation design without waste, tailored to the scale of the building and site conditions, regardless of soil type from sandy to clayey ground. GeoTech Co., Ltd. provides high-quality ground reinforcement work that meets diverse needs by leveraging a nationwide network under a strict quality control system managed by certified engineers and real-time objective data monitoring.

basic information
This is a highly reliable rotary-driven steel pipe pile method that has obtained certification from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and the GBRC Building Technology Performance Certification (No. 12-20). It offers a lineup of 16 sizes of shaft steel pipes with outer diameters ranging from φ89.1mm to φ609.6mm, as well as multi-stage wing diameter specifications, and it is also possible to use high-tensile steel pipes of grade 590N. The maximum construction depth is very deep, at 130 times the outer diameter or 63.6m or less for sandy ground (including gravel), and 130 times the outer diameter or 59.43m (57.0m for outer diameters of φ508.0mm or more) or less for clayey ground, accommodating support forces in both pushing and pulling directions.

Applications/Examples of results
It is widely applicable for the foundation reinforcement of all buildings with a total floor area of 500,000 square meters or less. It is ideal not only for single-family homes and low to mid-rise apartments but also for large logistics warehouses, commercial buildings, factories, and public facilities that require high design loads and deep supporting layers. Additionally, due to its wide range of pile diameters and resistance to pull-out forces, it is effective for reinforcing the foundations of structures such as transmission towers and tanks, as well as retaining walls. It can flexibly adapt to various soil types, whether sandy, clayey, or gravelly, making it an optimal construction method for development projects with complex ground conditions.
