Ground reinforcement work | Optimizing the entire construction process with the DM method to achieve a shortened construction period.
Ground reinforcement work
Bolt connections that do not require on-site welding and rotary insertion construction that does not require curing. This eliminates the risk of delays in the process and enables speedy ground reinforcement work.
The "DM Method (Double Metal Method)" developed by Geotech Co., Ltd. is a small-diameter steel pipe pile ground reinforcement method that achieves a dramatic improvement in construction speed and compression of construction periods. In ground reinforcement work to prevent building settlement accidents, this method employs a unique structure that fixes ductile cast iron tip wings with bolts on-site, reducing construction time and waiting time associated with traditional welding work. Additionally, because it uses a rotary penetration method that does not require cement, there is no curing time needed, allowing for immediate transition to the next process after completion of the pouring. The use of a no-dirt construction method that generates no residual soil and compact construction machinery enables efficient work even in narrow sites. It has obtained the GBRC performance certification (No. 10-01) from the General Incorporated Foundation Japan Building Disaster Prevention Association, allowing for high-precision and speedy foundation design based on SWS test data. With a supply system for components from its own factory, rapid construction response from construction association members nationwide, and real-time construction data management, it provides high technical reliability and a reliable ground guarantee.

basic information
The General Incorporated Foundation Japan Architectural Comprehensive Testing Institute has obtained the GBRC performance certification (No. 10-01). It features a welding-free structure that fixes a steel pipe with a main axis diameter of 101.6mm (STK400) and a large tip wing made of ductile cast iron (FOD450A) with fixed bolts. Two options for the enlarged wing diameter are available: 3.0 times (290mm) and 3.5 times (350mm) the diameter of the steel pipe. The applicable ground conditions are sandy and clayey soils with an equivalent N value of 5 to 15, and the maximum construction depth can accommodate up to 130 times the axis diameter (13.2m) from the construction ground surface. It is characterized by same-day construction without the need for curing.

Applications/Examples of results
It is ideal for single-family homes, multi-family residences, small retail stores, and foundation reinforcement of retaining walls under 3.5 meters in height, with three floors or fewer above ground, a height of 13 meters or less, a eave height of 9 meters or less, and a total floor area of 500 square meters or less. It significantly reduces on-site welding work and waiting time for curing, making it extremely effective for construction sites that want to hand over to foundation work in a short construction period. It is widely adopted as a technical measure to improve work efficiency and shorten schedules, especially in subdivision housing projects with strict process management and in urban areas where construction must be completed within a limited timeframe on narrow lots.
