The "SP Clamp Method" is a construction technique for replacing the deck of a simple PC composite girder bridge using precast PC deck slabs while maintaining the load-bearing capacity of the existing structure. By cutting the existing main girder stirrups and crimping a fixed steel pipe to their ends, the functionality of the stirrups is preserved.
