The "Hinodakutairu Joint α SCV Type" is a cast iron expansion device for bridges that achieves a durability equivalent to 30 years through unique casting technology. It is a steel load-bearing type that can be installed within the pavement thickness (cut depth of 75mm) without removing the existing deck slab. It is suitable for installation on small to medium-sized bridges with thin deck slabs, which could only be addressed by conventional materials or butt-type rubber joints. A packing integrated with a water-stopping material is placed on the connection surface of the main body to prevent leakage at the connection. Additionally, it adopts a slip-resistant pattern that has proven effective in manhole covers.
