The "Hinodakutairu Joint α (SCVJ Type)" is a bridge expansion device made of cast iron, designed to achieve a durability equivalent to 30 years through unique casting technology (suitable for snowy regions). It is a steel load-bearing type that can be installed within the thickness of the pavement (cut depth of 80mm) without removing the existing deck slab. This device accommodates the installation on thin deck slabs of small to medium-sized bridges, which could only be addressed by conventional materials or butt-type rubber joints. In addition to the guiding plates arranged on the side of the product body, a sloped shape to prevent grader collisions has been added to the top surface of the body.
