"Landslide prevention pile work" involves driving steel pipe piles to suppress landslides. A landslide occurred in the Katanoe area of Sado City, spanning 100 meters in width and 200 meters in height, where 71 prevention piles were installed in two tiers. Additionally, this method was adopted in the emergency landslide work related to disasters in the Nogema area by the Nagaoka Regional Promotion Bureau of Niigata Prefecture.
