Petty cash is managed at both the headquarters and the Osaka sales office using this system. The members participating in this system include about 45 people, including employees, executives, and part-time workers. The accounting tasks are handled by one dedicated person at the headquarters. For petty cash, the headquarters has a dedicated accountant, while the Osaka sales office has a part-time woman who also handles other duties. Before this system was implemented, there was another part-time woman responsible at the headquarters. From the perspective of the dedicated accountant, the effort required for petty cash tasks accounted for 40% of the accounting work at that time, but after the system was implemented, even with one less staff member, it has reduced to 20% of the accounting work. Furthermore, the dedicated accountant is now able to leave almost on time, and after closing the profit and loss results, they produce a trial balance by the evening of the first day of the following month.
