This is a system that utilizes blockchain to track information about where electricity is generated and where it is used. It tracks the amount of electricity generated by renewable energy power plants and the electricity consumption of end users, visualizing analysis results such as CO2 reduction amounts and the local production and consumption rate of renewable energy. Through these services, it can be used as a means to facilitate understanding among local residents regarding the local production and consumption of electricity, promoting "the circulation of the local economy through local production and consumption of renewable energy" and "behavioral change."

The city of Ena declared itself a Zero Carbon City in March 2022 and was selected as an "SDGs Future City" in May of the same year, leading efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a city, we aim to establish a mechanism for the circulation of the economy and resources within the region, striving to create a self-sufficient and sustainable community. Our main objectives include promoting the introduction of locally produced energy and ensuring the resilience of the community during disasters. To achieve this, we are collaborating with NGK Insulators and Chubu Electric Power Miraiz to participate in Ena Electric Power. Since its establishment, we have been able to implement zero-carbon events by using locally produced energy and strengthening disaster prevention capabilities through the construction of regional microgrids powered by solar energy. NR-Power Lab, in collaboration with Nagai City and Okitama New Power, has started a demonstration of a renewable energy visualization system in all elementary and junior high schools in Nagai City. All eight elementary and junior high schools in Nagai City operate with 100% renewable energy for their electricity consumption, and monitors have been installed in each school to display the amount of electricity consumed, the status of power generation, and the amount of CO2 reduction in numerical and graphical formats. The "Renewable Energy Visualization Service" provides a dashboard that visualizes the amount of renewable energy generated and consumed almost in real-time. You can easily check the local production and consumption rate, energy composition, CO2 reduction amount, and more at a glance.
