A demonstration of a renewable energy visualization system has begun at all elementary and junior high schools in Nagai City, Yamagata Prefecture!
NR-Power Lab, in collaboration with Nagai City and Okitama New Power, has started a demonstration of a renewable energy visualization system in all elementary and junior high schools in Nagai City. All eight elementary and junior high schools in Nagai City operate with 100% renewable energy for their electricity consumption, and monitors have been installed in each school to display the amount of electricity consumed, the status of power generation, and the amount of CO2 reduction in numerical and graphical formats. We will hear from the participants of the demonstration project about efforts to enhance children's awareness of local production and consumption of renewable energy and environmental issues, as well as to expand understanding of the current state of renewable energy in the community. *For more details, you can view the related links.
