[Seminar] 2025 Library - Proposal for Library DX through Digital Resources

From Library to Library to Win the 2025 Library Proposal

Our company will hold a business seminar. What proposals should be developed for library architecture and library systems in 2025? While the number of libraries with e-books, digital libraries, and digital archives has significantly increased, we are still not at a level where the physical space and information space are connected and integrated. Many initiatives claiming to promote library DX are still limited to the use of AI, automation, and self-service, appearing to be an extension of traditional digitization. In this lecture, we will introduce the significance and methods of integrating various digital resources into the physical space of libraries, focusing on the proposals that were actually presented and selected in various proposals in 2024. Many design proposals for libraries are also scheduled for 2025. We will conduct a lecture and Q&A session to prepare for these challenging opportunities. We hope this will be useful for advancing library proposals. [Seminar Details] ■ Date and Time: January 9 (Thursday) 13:30 - 15:30 (Doors open at 13:00) ■ Venue: JPI Conference Square ■ Speaker: Mr. Makoto Okamoto Representative Director Producer Academic Resource Guide Co., Ltd. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Seminar] Manufacturing Technology for Fuels and Chemicals Using CO2 as a Raw Material for CN

Carbon Neutral (CN)

Our company will hold a seminar on "Manufacturing Technologies for Fuels and Chemicals Using CO2 as Raw Material for Carbon Neutrality." With the arrival of the carbon-neutral era, fossil resources will no longer be usable. Biomass poses a risk of environmental destruction, and the amount of usable resources is limited. Ultimately, we will have no choice but to produce fuels and chemicals using CO2 from the atmosphere and hydrogen from renewable energy electrolysis. In Europe and the United States, methane and methanol are already being synthesized from CO2 and H2. The production of chemicals has also begun. We would like to introduce these technologies and provide a detailed explanation of the technologies needed for carbon neutrality. 【Seminar Details】 ■ Date and Time: November 20, 2024 (Wednesday) 13:30 - 15:30 (Doors open at 13:00) ■ Venue: JPI Conference Square ■ Address: 5-2-32 Minami Azabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Kowa Hiroo Building ■ Participation Method: In-person, live streaming, archived streaming ■ Speaker: Takaki Muroi ICLab (Industrial Catalysts Laboratory) Representative *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Seminar] Pathway to Carbon Neutrality in Sectors Where Emission Reduction is Difficult

Sectors that are hard to abate

Our company will hold a business seminar. The steel and chemical industries are considered hard-to-abate sectors, making carbon neutrality challenging. This is due to the use of fossil resources such as oil and coal as raw materials in industries like chemicals, as well as the significant energy required in the production process. On the other hand, the materials industry can be seen as one that generates substantial added value, as products are created through relatively long supply chains. Recently, the Society of Chemical Engineers published a position paper on pathways to carbon neutrality for hard-to-abate industries. This seminar will explain the contents of this position paper and outline pathways to achieving carbon neutrality, including reforms to social systems, utilizing the supply chain. [Seminar Details] ■ Date and Time: February 19, 2025 (Wednesday) 16:30 - 18:30 (Doors open at 16:00) ■ Speaker: Professor Masahiko Matsukata, Department of Applied Chemistry, Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, Waseda University *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
