Our company will hold a business seminar. In light of the challenges surrounding hospitals, such as functional differentiation and staff shortages in preparation for the 2040 issue, as well as disasters and global warming, the recent surge in construction costs has had a serious impact on facility development. Reflecting on nearly 40 years of experience in hospital design, we must ask ourselves what can be done now in response to the clearly different trends we are facing. This is the theme of this seminar. First, it is important to analyze the trends in construction costs since the COVID-19 pandemic and predict future developments. Next, we will discuss the necessary conditions for starting construction. To enhance the willingness of contractors to participate, we conducted a survey among construction companies and equipment subcontractors. Additionally, we will present examples from recent projects, including earthquake and flood measures, infection control, and fully private patient rooms. 【Seminar Details】 ■ Date and Time: January 23, 2025 (Thursday) 16:30 - 18:30 (Doors open at 16:00) ■ Venue: JPI Conference Square ■ Address: 5-2-32 Minami Azabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Kowa Hiroo Building ■ Speaker: Kazuyuki Murodono, Director of Planning and Development, Medical Welfare and Education at Sato General Planning Co., Ltd. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Our company will hold a business seminar. What proposals should be developed for library architecture and library systems in 2025? While the number of libraries with e-books, digital libraries, and digital archives has significantly increased, we are still not at a level where the physical space and information space are connected and integrated. Many initiatives claiming to promote library DX are still limited to the use of AI, automation, and self-service, appearing to be an extension of traditional digitization. In this lecture, we will introduce the significance and methods of integrating various digital resources into the physical space of libraries, focusing on the proposals that were actually presented and selected in various proposals in 2024. Many design proposals for libraries are also scheduled for 2025. We will conduct a lecture and Q&A session to prepare for these challenging opportunities. We hope this will be useful for advancing library proposals.
