Our company will hold a seminar on "Urban Development of the Hanshin Tigers Farm Facility in Amagasaki City." In March 2025, the Hanshin Tigers Farm Facility will be relocated and renewed at Oda Minami Park in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture. Amagasaki City has developed as an industrial city and has been a core of the Hanshin Industrial Zone, but it also has a history of suffering from pollution. However, in recent years, environmental improvements have progressed, and it was selected as the first carbon-neutral pilot area. Our company will hold a seminar titled "Cabinet Office: Key Points and Remaining Issues of the 'Next Generation Medical Infrastructure Act' Amendment." The Next Generation Medical Infrastructure Act is a special law under the Personal Information Protection Act aimed at promoting the utilization of medical data while protecting personal information. However, there have been criticisms regarding the pre-amendment system, as the "anonymized medical information" that can be utilized is difficult to use for research due to the removal of rare disease names, and its application for drug approval has also been challenging. The amendment bill was enacted in the regular session of the National Diet in 2023 and has been in effect since April of this year. The main contents of the amendment include establishing a system for utilizing "pseudonymized medical information" and enabling the linkage between the data of this law and data from sources like the NDB. Our company will hold a seminar on "Latest Trends in SAF Manufacturing Technology and Projects." Electrification of aircraft is challenging. Hydrogenated vegetable oils (HVO) are being produced globally, but due to environmental issues, waste cooking oil as a raw material is gaining attention, although it is quantitatively insufficient. In the United States, the production of SAF from bioethanol (ETJ) has begun. Furthermore, the liquefaction of biomass and the production of SAF from syngas generated through gasification of biomass and municipal waste via FT synthesis have also started. Additionally, many projects for SAF production from CO2 in the atmosphere and renewable energy-derived electrolytic hydrogen are being launched. Our company will hold a seminar on "Practical Aspects of Urban Redevelopment Projects." In recent years, many urban redevelopment projects based on the Urban Redevelopment Act have been planned and implemented, particularly in urban areas such as Tokyo. Promoting urban redevelopment projects requires a very complex process compared to the usual building reconstruction, including gathering consensus among neighboring landowners and obtaining approvals from the government, which can take a long time to complete. However, by implementing these projects as public works, large-scale redevelopment, including relaxation of floor area ratios, becomes feasible. Our company will hold a seminar titled "J-Oil Mills Co., Ltd.: Efforts and Future Prospects for Building a Biojet Fuel Supply Chain Model Utilizing Plant Oils and Fats That Do Not Compete with Food." In order to build a future SAF supply chain in our country, we are focusing on non-food competing oilseed plant materials as a response to the major challenge of raw material procurement. We are considering a SAF supply scheme utilizing our oil extraction and refining technology as part of a NEDO subsidized project. In collaboration with the national government, Okinawa Prefectural Government, and companies and academia both within and outside the prefecture, we are demonstrating that SAF can be produced using oils obtained from non-edible oilseed crops grown in Okinawa Prefecture. Additionally, we are developing oil extraction and refining technologies for non-edible oilseed crops to improve SAF yield. Our company will hold a seminar on the "Omiya Station Grand Central Station Concept" in Saitama City. In the "Metropolitan Area Wide Area Plan" approved by the Cabinet in 2016, Omiya is positioned as a hub connecting Eastern Japan.
