Acceleration of GX and Economic Revitalization: GX Transition Bonds and Transition Finance, 7th Basic Energy Plan.

Our company will hold a seminar on the initiative to connect "150 trillion yen of GX investment from both public and private sectors to economic growth." A stable supply of energy is a prerequisite for supporting Japan's industries and our daily lives. Due to the prolonged effects of deflation and currency depreciation, Japan's GDP has fallen to the 4th position in the world, and with a decreasing labor force, we believe that the key to revitalizing the Japanese economy lies solely in strengthening industrial competitiveness through the promotion of GX. In this context, the government's issuance of GX transition bonds is expected to significantly contribute to further advancing energy-saving technologies, which Japan has traditionally excelled in, and to the development of decarbonized fuels that Japan can lead globally. Therefore, in this lecture, we will return to the fundamental principles of energy, S + 3E, and elaborate on the measures necessary for Japan to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and regain its industrial competitiveness.
