Floating offshore wind power is expected to be developed in our country, which has the sixth largest exclusive economic zone in the world. However, floating offshore wind power has large-scale equipment systems and is installed offshore, presenting challenges in terms of cost, construction, operation, maintenance, and technical issues. FLOWRA was established to address these challenges by promoting collaboration among power generation operators to jointly tackle themes and technological developments aimed at reducing the costs and risks associated with floating offshore wind power, ultimately achieving large-scale commercialization.
