[Seminar] JR Freight: Challenging a New Era of Freight Railway Transportation

Achieving profitability in the railway business, promoting DX and GX, and building a next-generation, labor-saving, and environmentally low-impact national logistics network.

Our company will hold a seminar titled "JR Freight: Challenging a New Era of Freight Railway Transportation." In response to the 2024 issue and expectations for carbon neutrality, logistics operators, as well as logistics management executives (CLOs) from shippers, will deepen collaboration to aim for overall optimization. We will work on building phase-free modal combinations and addressing various challenges through the promotion of DX (Digital Transformation) and GX (Green Transformation). We aim to achieve profitability in our railway business and reform our cost structure as part of our mid-term management plan, while also looking ahead to 2030 and beyond, considering collaboration with freight railways, autonomous driving, and automated logistics roads.
