This is an example of water ceramic being used in a test to confirm its effectiveness in controlling algal blooms.

At the Tottori Prefecture's Encho-en, a trial was conducted using water ceramic to address algal proliferation. The effectiveness was tested at eight locations within the park, including marble stone lions affected by algal blooms and white granite that had turned black due to cyanobacterial growth, where water ceramic was applied. Later, the algae and fungi on the marble stone lions were removed through water ceramic treatment, and the surface of the treated white granite no longer absorbed rainwater. This product is based on a thickness of 100 mm and widths of 390 mm and 430 mm, with a length of 1220 mm, allowing it to be used in most wall surfaces as is. Due to its elasticity and strong recovery force, it can be cut 10 mm larger than the size of the gaps and pushed in with light pressure to ensure perfect insulation.
