[Case Study] Tanabe Trading Co., Ltd. Tokyo Bay Branch
Construction of a new food logistics center that will support the future of the company! Aiming to be a trusted center focused on hygiene management.
We would like to introduce a case study of Tanabe Shoji Co., Ltd., a long-established general trading company that handles essential products for daily life and business, including food for home and commercial use. The company's request was to "not simply consolidate four locations, but to focus on hygiene management as a logistics center for food while maximizing the synergy of each product based on the management plan." We approached this challenge. We arranged products across three temperature zones—refrigerated, frozen, and ambient—along with dry ice products in a way that facilitates mixed loading. We ensured that the first-floor ambient storage space has enough capacity to accommodate the increasing number of refrigerated and frozen products in the future. [Case Overview] ■ Challenge: Storage locations and quantities / Hygiene management of the logistics center ■ Solution: Storage settings based on analysis and forecasting / Integration of hygiene management and operational efficiency ■ Industry: General trading company ■ Warehouse Type: Temperature-controlled warehouse ■ Stored Items: Food, dry ice, packaging materials, etc. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
