The Exterior Division was established in 1982 based on pipe processing technology for office chairs. Currently, it focuses on garden exterior products such as "awnings," "parasols," and "garden furniture." Each product features a variety of designs and variations to meet market needs. In the future, we will leverage Takano's unique strengths to focus on developing high-value-added products utilizing mechatronics, security technology, and electrical components. Additionally, we will also enhance the development of products using recycled materials.
Business Activities
We are developing our business primarily around garden exteriors such as awnings and garages. Against the backdrop of emphasizing "comfort" in living spaces and environments, the direction of residential investment is increasingly shifting from "quantity" to "quality." As a result, there is a growing number of houses with new designs, such as Western-style and new Japanese-style homes, and there is a demand for even more innovative designs and functions. At Takano, we quickly respond to market trends and offer a diverse lineup of products with various designs and variations.
