We would like to introduce a case study on problem-solving at Sankyu Co., Ltd., which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2018. In response to the directive from the local fire department regarding "20 air changes per hour" for ventilation, we went back to discussions with the design office and explained our past achievements. We obtained permission for 5 air changes per hour. For the lightning protection system, we changed the costly "spike type" plan to a "conductor type."
