Construction plan for a temperature-controlled warehouse for storing herbal medicines. Reviewing proposals from design firms and considering the best options.
We would like to introduce a case study of problem-solving at Tochimoto Tenkaido, which was advancing plans for the construction of a temperature-controlled warehouse for raw materials used in traditional Chinese medicine. Upon reviewing the design proposal from the architectural firm, I felt that as it stood, there were challenges regarding future maintenance and compliance with GMP standards concerning the management of pharmaceutical raw materials, indicating a need for improvements to create a "usable building." As a result, we made significant changes to the design proposed by the architectural firm, enabling us to create a "usable building" for our client. 【Case Overview】 ■ Challenge: GMP compliance (pest and rodent prevention, temperature control) ■ Solution: Interior wall insulation (pest and rodent prevention, temperature control) ■ Industry: Manufacturing ■ Warehouse Type: Temperature-controlled warehouse ■ Stored Items: Pharmaceutical raw materials *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
