We would like to introduce a case study on the energy-saving effects of our clean room air conditioning system's refrigeration unit. A water conditioning device, The Bio Water, was installed in the cooling tower (350RT) water tank, and changes in water quality were measured, along with changes in the power consumption of the refrigeration unit's compressor. Additionally, we confirmed changes in the replacement cycle of the filters installed in the cooling water for production equipment. The power consumption of the refrigeration unit's compressor decreased by 30% two months after the installation of The Bio Water. This was due to the removal of scale in the cooling water piping circulating from the cooling tower to the refrigeration unit, resulting in a reduced load on the compressor and confirming the energy-saving effect.
