Silicoroi special nut seizure test (high-temperature oxidation test)

Special nuts were fastened to bolts of each material (M17×40, pitch 1.0)! A comparison of each material was conducted.

To compare practical seizure phenomena, we conducted seizure tests using special nuts. The special nuts are designed to prevent loosening and generate friction torque that prevents free rotation by applying strong pressure on the threads of the bolt through the internal spring action (SUS301). Generally, they are used with lubricants, but this time we applied them in a non-lubricated state for the seizure tests and compared various materials. The "2527 Series" is a load cell designed for use in dynamic testing systems. It offers excellent performance by measuring loads at 1/250 of the load capacity with an accuracy of 0.5% of the reading. The automatic recognition of the transducer and electrical calibration make it user-friendly.
