In 1993, the company was founded by the current president Jiro Maruyama and his wife Yuriko, centered around wireless and CCD camera technology. Today, it is involved in the development, manufacturing, and sales of dental intraoral cameras, medical and industrial X-ray sensors, industrial endoscopes, broadcasting and professional cameras, and the development of capsule endoscopes. In the dental field, currently, 85% of the world's wireless intraoral cameras are made by RF. Additionally, in the medical field, the digital X-ray announced in 2006 captured a 29.6% share (the number one achievement) in the domestic DR market the following year in 2007.
