The special nuts are designed to prevent loosening and generate friction torque that prevents free rotation by applying strong pressure on the threads of the bolt through the internal spring action (SUS301). Generally, they are used with lubricants, but this time we applied them in a non-lubricated state for the seizure tests and compared various materials.
