What is electromagnetic wave?

Electromagnetic waves are generated from indoor wiring that runs through the floor and walls.

Electromagnetic waves are phenomena that possess both electric and magnetic properties, referred to as "electric field" and "magnetic field," which involve time, changes, and waves. Due to their respective properties, there are concerns about the different effects they may have on the body. Additionally, electromagnetic waves are generated from indoor wiring that runs through floors and walls. In the case of electrical appliances, electromagnetic waves are only generated when they are plugged into an outlet, but with indoor wiring, they continue to be generated throughout the day. Particularly strong electromagnetic waves are emitted from areas where the wiring overlaps. 【Electric Field】 ■ Creates induced currents that cover the surface of the body ■ Can cause a tingling sensation ■ May affect human bioelectric potential *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Measures against electromagnetic waves

Japanese homes are more susceptible to the adverse effects of electromagnetic fields than those in European countries. What are effective countermeasures?

The effects of electromagnetic waves' "electric field" and "magnetic field" on the body and their countermeasures are currently considered as follows: <Electric Field> It may affect biological potential and cause changes in the autonomic nervous system and skin surface. <Magnetic Field> There is a possibility of genetic damage and internal organ diseases. Regarding electromagnetic waves in living environments, there is a difference in general awareness between European countries, such as Sweden, which have strict guidelines, and Japan, as well as differences in equipment as follows: 【Electromagnetic Wave Advanced Countries】 ■ Fewer lighting, outlets, and indoor wiring compared to Japan ■ All outlets and computers have grounding terminals ■ Electric blankets and electric carpets are not used *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example] Gas Permeable and Waterproof Capping Sheet Method "ADK Sheet"

Rainwater infiltration suppression into the waste layer + can be used for gas permeation from the waste layer!

We would like to introduce a case where the gas-permeable and waterproof capping sheet method "ADK Sheet" was implemented. In this project, it was necessary to excavate the waste from the existing final disposal site, set up a temporary sorting yard, and properly sort the waste for burial at a new final disposal site. After performing the burial work at the new final disposal site with appropriate waterproofing measures, the final cover was applied to complete the project. When implementing the final cover, we proposed the use of this sheet method to reduce the amount of rainwater infiltration into the waste and to allow gas generated from the waste layer to permeate, which was adopted. 【Case Overview】 ■ Adopted Method: Ventilated and Waterproof Sheet Method "ADK Sheet" ■ The ADK Sheet method can be used to suppress rainwater infiltration into the waste layer and allow gas permeation from the waste layer. ■ The ADK Sheet has a three-layer structure, with the middle layer made of "Tyvek," a polyethylene non-woven fabric that excels in chemical resistance, breathability, and waterproofing, and protective and reinforcing non-woven fabrics bonded to the upper and lower layers. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Case] Water Barrier Sheet for Pond Site Disaster Recovery Method

Proposing a geo-web crushed stone layer for the restoration of the foundation under the waterproof sheet! By adopting this, we can achieve a reduction in construction time.

We would like to introduce a case study on the construction method for "waterproof sheet for agricultural pond disaster recovery." In this case, a pond used for agricultural purposes was protected by a waterproof sheet on its surface. Over time, voids developed in the ground behind the waterproof sheet, causing the sheet to float. We adopted a design that involved installing a permeable crushed stone layer behind the waterproof sheet and discharging the groundwater behind the sheet through a pipe at the bottom of the pond. [Case Overview] ■ Issues - If left unaddressed, there was a possibility that the waterproof sheet could be damaged, compromising its waterproofing performance. ■ Proposal - We proposed using "GeoWeb," a durable frame material, to maintain the crushed stone layer beneath the waterproof sheet. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example] Breathable Waterproof Sheet Method "Public Cover Sheet F Method"

We propose a construction method that ensures waterproofing while maintaining breathability!

We would like to introduce a case where the breathable waterproof sheet method "Public Cover Sheet F Method" was implemented. In this site, due to special circumstances, it was necessary to temporarily store contaminated soil, which required medium to long-term storage. During this storage period, it was necessary to release gases generated from organic matter contained in the soil into the atmosphere while preventing rainwater from permeating the contaminated soil. By using this method, we were able to release gases generated from organic matter in the soil into the atmosphere while preventing rainwater from permeating the contaminated soil, thereby suppressing the outflow of contaminants from within the contaminated soil. 【Case Overview】 ■Challenges - It was necessary to prevent rainwater from permeating the contaminated soil. ■Results - Achieved high water resistance through end film processing. - Suppressed the outflow of contaminants from within the contaminated soil. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Case] Soft Ground Improvement Method

Even extremely weak ground that people cannot walk on can be made walkable by laying geotextile sheets!

We would like to introduce a case study of the "soft ground improvement method." In this project, it was necessary to carry out embankment work on extremely soft ground with an N value of less than 1 and a high groundwater level. The extremely soft ground was not only unsuitable for construction machinery but also impassable for humans. Therefore, it was essential to ensure the trafficability (mobility) of construction machinery when performing the embankment work. By laying down a "public mesh," the surface support capacity of the extremely soft ground was reinforced, making it possible for humans to walk on it. 【Case Overview】 ■ Challenges - The ground was impassable for humans, and it was necessary to ensure the trafficability (mobility) of construction machinery for the embankment work. ■ Results - By placing embankment on the ground where the public mesh was laid, we were able to reduce the sinking of the embankment into the soft ground. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Case of On-Site Trouble] Port embankment subsidence caused by the deterioration of sand prevention sheets used in ports.

Short fiber non-woven fabric is unsuitable as a sand prevention sheet used for harbor applications!

We would like to introduce a case where multiple sinkholes occurred in flat areas beside the road less than a year after the completion of road construction on reclaimed land. The areas where the issues occurred used a short-fiber non-woven sand control sheet. It is estimated that the sand control sheet was laid on the stone embankment and was exposed to seawater for a certain period until the soil was filled in. During this time, it is presumed that the short fibers gradually flowed out into the seawater, resulting in a decrease in the thickness and strength of the product. 【Proposed Countermeasure Method】 ■ For sand control sheets used in ports, we recommend long-fiber non-woven fabric "Posible." - Excellent mechanical properties such as tensile strength - Superior resistance to water, oil, weather, corrosion, chemicals, and heat - Long-term stability in soil *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
