[FM Certified] Standard Flame Sensor

Certified as the world's first flame sensor with a UV detection method and a non-explosion-proof structure!

FM certification refers to a unique standard operated by an insurance company based in the United States, which tests and evaluates the safety and performance of products from all aspects, including hardware and software. Sensors that pass specific criteria are awarded the "FM Approved" certification mark, proving the high reliability of the product. Our company has cleared this rigorous testing and has been approved as the world's first non-explosion-proof ultraviolet detection flame sensor. (As of October 2024) Obtaining this certification among flame sensors, which are considered to have fewer product standards, further ensures the quality and safety of the product.

[Case Study of People Counting System] World Famous Brand

Introducing case studies of people counting systems implemented in multiple domestic stores!

We would like to introduce a case where a global brand operating over 50 stores in the country has implemented a "People Count System." The brand aimed to gain a detailed understanding of customer flow, peak times, and purchase rates at each store, clarifying differences based on region and store size to achieve strategic store management. To this end, TOF sensors were installed at the entrance of all stores. This enabled the collection of data on the number of entrants, peak visiting times, and purchase rates for each store. [Case Overview] - Objective: To collect data on the number of entrants and purchase rates at each store using sensors installed at the entrance. - Results: Clarified customer flow and purchasing characteristics at each store, strengthening strategic management. *For details of the service, please download the PDF. For more information on the case, please check the link provided.

[Case Study] YAMANI's Efforts on People Counting

The history and evolution of people counting! A case study of implementation at a certain sports apparel brand's Harajuku flagship store.

We would like to introduce an early case study of our efforts in people counting. Our company has been engaged in the people counting business since around 2000, focusing on the development of systems that visualize visitor numbers and the flow of people within facilities. At that time, IoT sensors were not yet common, and the technology for data collection and analysis was not as advanced as it is today. In such a situation, we have independently tackled challenges to meet customer needs and support effective store operations. A symbolic example of this is the system we implemented at a certain sports apparel brand's Harajuku flagship store in 2006. This project not only demonstrated the potential of early-stage people counting technology but also laid the foundation for its subsequent evolution. [Challenges and Initiatives] - Technical Constraints - Pursuit of Accuracy - Utilization of Data *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Use Case] Visualization of Workplace Environment [Energy Saving / Carbon Neutral]

Managing multiple data on a single screen! Introducing a case where visualizing the workplace environment became possible through graphing.

We would like to introduce a case study where "ParaRecolectar" was used to visualize the workplace environment. In workplace environmental management, there was a significant burden due to the inability to conduct surveys on the labor environment, leading to inadequate management. "ParaRecolectar" can collect data such as temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure, allowing for easy comprehensive monitoring of the workplace environment through the installation of additional sensors. As a result, it has become possible to reduce the burden of surveys and promote measures and improvements. [Case Overview (Partial)] ■ Issues - Workplace environmental management is lagging behind - Uncertainty about appropriate measures ■ Effects - Promotion of energy conservation/carbon neutrality - Ensuring the safety of the labor environment *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Use Case] Detection of Drill Breakage Precursors [Failure Precaution Detection / Equipment Maintenance]

Constantly monitoring graphs! Introducing examples of reducing unexpected stoppages in production lines.

We would like to introduce a case where the AC current sensor from "ParaRecolectar" was used to detect signs of a drill breaking before it actually happened. In deep hole machining, drills were either replaced regularly or after they broke, leading to sudden equipment stoppages due to unexpected drill breakage. By applying this case, it becomes possible to detect different waveforms during normal operation and send a stop signal to the equipment, allowing it to be halted before the tool breaks. [Case Summary (Partial)] ■Challenges - We want to know the signs before the drill breaks in the machining equipment. - We want to prevent sudden equipment stoppages. ■Implementation Method - Measure the main spindle motor current of the machining equipment using an AC current sensor. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Use Case] Identifying Causes of Delays to Improve Work Efficiency [Efficiency Survey / Productivity Improvement]

Accurate data recording! Introducing a case study where the cycle time of the process was automatically measured.

We will introduce a case where we used the bottleneck process checker 'P!tchDATA' to identify the causes of delays and improve work efficiency. In measuring the cycle time of the process, we were using a stopwatch, which led to data variability and a significant amount of investigation time due to complicated tasks and ambiguous records. By detecting the signal from the work passage sensor with the weak DC current sensor of 'P!tchDATA', we were able to implement automatic measurement with an additional sensor, resulting in a reduction of overtime by 156 minutes per shift. 【Case Overview (Partial)】 ■Challenges - Overtime caused by production delays - Difficulty in investigating the causes of delays ■Implementation Method - Automatic measurement with an additional sensor *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Use Case] Visualization of Power Consumption per Unit with Retrofitted Sensors [Energy Saving / Unit Consumption]

Reduction of entry errors! Introducing examples of visualizing electricity consumption by unit of equipment.

We will introduce a case where the AC current sensor and pulse input of "ParaRecolectar" were used to visualize electrical power with an add-on sensor. In measuring electrical power, the task of recording calculated results by operators had become a significant daily burden. As a result of the implementation, automatic measurement by the sensor became possible, leading to a reduction in labor hours for operators and the ability to identify bottlenecks. [Case Overview (Partial)] ■ Issues - Want to visualize electrical power per unit - Labor hours for aggregation are high - There are no sensors in the desired aggregation locations ■ Implementation Method - Automatic measurement with add-on sensors *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Use Case] Visualization of Electricity Consumption [Energy Saving / Carbon Neutral]

Accurate data recording by sensors! Introducing examples of visualizing electricity usage for each facility.

We will introduce a case where we used the AC current sensor from "ParaRecolectar" to identify neck equipment and reduce power costs. In measuring electricity usage, there were challenges such as a lack of manpower to conduct investigations and the high costs associated with introducing measuring devices. As a result of the implementation, we were able to see the trends in daily electricity usage and identify the time periods with high consumption. [Case Overview (Partial)] ■Challenges - Want to reduce electricity usage - Unable to narrow down countermeasure processes ■Implementation Method - Automatic measurement with retrofitted sensors *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Use Case] Identifying the Cause of Equipment Shutdown Due to Air Pressure Anomaly [Cause Investigation and Visualization]

Introducing a case study on the review of piping layout and pipe diameter.

We would like to introduce a case where we used the general-purpose analog input of "ParaRecolectar" to visualize air pressure and identify the cause of equipment stoppages. In the equipment, there were sporadic stoppages due to abnormal air supply pressure, and it was difficult to gather information during the problem occurrence, making it challenging to pursue and improve the cause. The general-purpose analog input of "ParaRecolectar" allows for the connection of sensors from other manufacturers, so we collected data from the existing pressure sensors in the process equipment. As a result of the implementation, we were able to identify the cause of the problem, review the piping layout and pipe diameter, and resolve the issue. 【Case Summary】 ■Challenges - Equipment stops due to abnormal air supply pressure - Unable to identify the cause ■Effects - Identification of the problem's cause - Measurement time reduced from 480 minutes to 30 minutes (installation): 95% reduction *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
