8-bit output type address sensor for AGV (address sensor)

Identifiable 256 code patterns! Complete non-contact type for AGV, 8-bit binary output address sensor SMR-2352.

This is an 8-bit output type address sensor (spot mark reader) that identifies the position of an unmanned transport vehicle. It detects address magnets with arbitrary information (0 to 255) written on them and performs vehicle control (branching, stopping, accelerating, decelerating, etc.) based on the current location information. Since it reads as an absolute value, it is less likely to skip addresses. 【Main Features】 - The address code can identify 256 codes in 8-bit binary. - Adopts a mobile reading method, allowing reading while the unmanned transport vehicle (AGV) is in motion. - Available with N-pole 'SMR-2352H2-N' and S-pole 'SMR-2352H2-S'. - The spot mark reader equipped with reading timing output reads information when positioned directly above the address magnet board while in motion. - The address magnet board can be selected from yellow and green laminates. - Easily used when a large capacity RFID IC chip is not required. - Suitable for environments where barcodes cannot be used due to dust and other influences. *For more details, please contact us.

Magnetic Application Technology Starting from Zero with Analog Sensors (Part 3)

I will explain the relationship between response frequency and response speed in analog sensors!

What a third installment! In the product catalog of magnetic sensors manufactured by Makome Research Institute, there is an item labeled "Response Frequency (Frequency Characteristics)." There are similar items in the product catalogs for "Linear Displacement Sensors" and "Rotary Angle Detection Sensors," and I believe many people find this unclear. Generally, it would be "response speed for linear displacement" and "response rotation speed for rotary angles," but at Makome Research Institute, the term "frequency" is used. This time, I would like to consider how the frequency, commonly used in the world of electricity, translates to "displacement." *For more details, please download the catalog or feel free to contact us.*

Linear Displacement Sensor (Sleeve Sensor): Makome Laboratory

Outputs relative position with DC voltage, robust and highly durable absolute type, custom shape for detecting suspension stroke in racing bikes.

The detection body consists of two components: the "sleeve" and the "probe" of the detection part. A high-frequency magnetic field is generated on the probe side, creating electromagnetic induction coupling between the sleeve and the probe. When the sleeve displaces relative to the probe, changes occur in the electromagnetic induction coupling, which are converted into voltage and output (the relative position of the sleeve and probe is output as a displacement amount in the range of 1-5V). Since the sleeve and probe have a completely non-contact structure, there is no deformation or failure due to friction. 【Main Features】 ■ Two models available: the integrated detector 'ET-850' and the separated type 'ET-851A' ■ The probe is made of stainless steel, ensuring both robustness and durability ■ The protective structure complies with IP-67, providing high dust and water resistance ■ Power supply voltage DC10-30V *For more details, please download the catalog or contact us.

Linear Non-contact Displacement Sensor ET Series: Makome Laboratory

Outputs relative position with DC voltage, robust and non-contact, boasting high durability, absolute type, custom-made, actively used in motorcycle racing!!

The detection system consists of two components: the "sleeve" of the detected object and the "probe" of the detection unit. A high-frequency magnetic field is generated on the probe side, creating electromagnetic induction coupling with the sleeve. When the sleeve displaces relative to the probe, changes occur in the electromagnetic induction coupling, and this change is converted into voltage for output (the relative position of the sleeve and probe is output as a displacement amount in the range of 1-5V). Since the sleeve and probe have a completely non-contact structure, there is no deformation or failure due to friction. 【Main Features】 - Two models available: the integrated detector 'ET-850' and the separated type 'ET-851A' - The probe is made of stainless steel, ensuring both robustness and durability - The protective structure complies with IP-67, providing high dust and water resistance - Power supply voltage: DC 10-30V Custom options available for installation and shape, etc. *For more details, please download the catalog or contact us.

Magnetic Sensor [Makome Laboratory]

We propose what can be done with magnetic sensors. Enjoy peace of mind with a 3-year warranty for natural failures. Please consult us about waterproofing and explosion-proof options as well.

■ It uses an optical sensor, but it requires regular cleaning, which is a hassle. ■ It uses a mechanical switch, but due to the high number of operations, the replacement frequency is high. ■ I want to detect from a bit further away. ■ I want to detect through obstacles (non-magnetic materials). There are environments suitable for magnetic sensors. Furthermore, magnets have N-pole and S-pole polarities. In general proximity sensors, only ON/OFF signals can be extracted, but with magnetic sensors, N-pole and S-pole signals can be extracted individually. Depending on the idea, it is possible to implement both hardware and programming. Examples of applications include: ◎ Deceleration (N-pole) / Stop (S-pole) ◎ Stop (N-pole) / Emergency Stop (S-pole) ◎ Addition (N-pole) / Subtraction (S-pole), etc. Additionally, address codes can be used as a three-value code. Why not switch to a maintenance-free Makome sensor? *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.*
