Shoe fitting evaluation: Estimation of shear force using piezo wire sensors.

Simulating the shear force generation between the materials of socks and shoes! Machine learning uses SVM (Support Vector Machine).

I would like to introduce the "Estimation of Shear Force Using Piezo Wire Sensors" conducted at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tokyo Denki University. Using a force gauge, vertical loads were applied to stacked materials, and tensile tests were conducted using a motor under a total of 55 conditions, including 11 vertical load conditions and 5 motor voltage conditions. The estimation accuracy of shear force was 92.5% for sensors processed into a circular shape and 93.1% for sensors woven into fabric. 【Key Points】 ■ Estimation of shear force from vibration measurements using piezo wire sensors ■ Real-time three-dimensional visualization of shear force and vertical load inside shoes *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[FM Certified] Standard Flame Sensor

Certified as the world's first flame sensor with a UV detection method and a non-explosion-proof structure!

FM certification refers to a unique standard operated by an insurance company based in the United States, which tests and evaluates the safety and performance of products from all aspects, including hardware and software. Sensors that pass specific criteria are awarded the "FM Approved" certification mark, proving the high reliability of the product. Our company has cleared this rigorous testing and has been approved as the world's first non-explosion-proof ultraviolet detection flame sensor. (As of October 2024) Obtaining this certification among flame sensors, which are considered to have fewer product standards, further ensures the quality and safety of the product.

Flame sensor for belt conveyor

Directly installed in the conveyor! Can be used for fire prevention measures in waste treatment facilities.

In recent years, there have been damages caused by fires at waste disposal facilities, which have become a social issue. Many of these incidents are due to the ignition and explosion of mobile batteries and lithium-ion batteries mixed in with combustible waste. Our flame sensor for belt conveyors can detect flames and sparks with high sensitivity and at an early stage, helping to minimize damage caused by fires. The SKH086EEP is designed to be directly installed on belt conveyors and crushers, featuring 【heat resistance】【vibration resistance】【dustproof】【fully waterproof functionality】. 【Features】 ■ Can be directly installed on belt conveyors and crushers ■ Usable in harsh environments such as dust and high temperatures ■ Early detection of flames to prevent fire-related accidents ■ User-friendly open collector output that can be linked with alarm devices *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

FLIGHTS SCAN HANDY

The future of measurement in your hands. Handheld LiDAR "FLIGHTS SCAN HANDY."

■Affordable Pricing While priced similarly to typical optical surveying equipment, it offers high performance, achieving a product that is "easy to introduce and use" from a cost perspective. ■High Performance for Effortless Deliverables - Measurement Distance: 40m As the primary application is supplementary measurement, it often measures relatively narrow areas, sufficiently covering the areas to be measured. - Accuracy: Relative accuracy: within 2cm, absolute accuracy: within 5cm It has top-level specifications for low-cost handheld LiDAR, achieving high accuracy. - Point Density: 200,000 points/second When operated correctly, it easily meets the required point density specified as a guideline in the "Public Surveying Manual Using LidarSLAM Technology." *As of the end of September 2024, based on our research. This applies to handheld LiDAR with a suggested retail price of less than 4.5 million yen (excluding tax) available in Japan. ■User-Friendly with a Field-First Approach Weighing about 1kg including the battery, it significantly reduces the burden on users due to its high portability. It comes standard with a compact GNSS module, and since the grip part is the battery, there is no hassle of carrying them separately from the main unit. Users with experience in three-dimensional point cloud surveying can master its usability in just one day.

[Case Study of People Counting System] World Famous Brand

Introducing case studies of people counting systems implemented in multiple domestic stores!

We would like to introduce a case where a global brand operating over 50 stores in the country has implemented a "People Count System." The brand aimed to gain a detailed understanding of customer flow, peak times, and purchase rates at each store, clarifying differences based on region and store size to achieve strategic store management. To this end, TOF sensors were installed at the entrance of all stores. This enabled the collection of data on the number of entrants, peak visiting times, and purchase rates for each store. [Case Overview] - Objective: To collect data on the number of entrants and purchase rates at each store using sensors installed at the entrance. - Results: Clarified customer flow and purchasing characteristics at each store, strengthening strategic management. *For details of the service, please download the PDF. For more information on the case, please check the link provided.

[Case Study of People Counting Solution] Multi-Story Electronics Retail Store

Understanding the number of visitors and the flow of shopping across each floor! Implementation in front of escalators and elevators.

We would like to introduce a case study of our "People Count Solution" implemented at an electronics retail store with many locations in a metropolitan area. At this store, people count sensors were installed at the escalators, elevators, and entrances to monitor the number of visitors and the flow of movement on each floor. After the implementation, the store was able to accurately grasp the number of customers who do not pass through the POS registers and the number of group customers, allowing for a true understanding of the potential customer base. 【Case Overview】 ■ Challenges - Understanding the number of visitors and the flow of movement on each floor ■ Effects - Grasping the potential customer base and movement flow - Optimizing the placement of products and services - Strengthening customer attraction strategies between floors *For details about the service, please download the PDF. For more information about the case, please check the link provided.

[Case Study] YAMANI's Efforts on People Counting

The history and evolution of people counting! A case study of implementation at a certain sports apparel brand's Harajuku flagship store.

We would like to introduce an early case study of our efforts in people counting. Our company has been engaged in the people counting business since around 2000, focusing on the development of systems that visualize visitor numbers and the flow of people within facilities. At that time, IoT sensors were not yet common, and the technology for data collection and analysis was not as advanced as it is today. In such a situation, we have independently tackled challenges to meet customer needs and support effective store operations. A symbolic example of this is the system we implemented at a certain sports apparel brand's Harajuku flagship store in 2006. This project not only demonstrated the potential of early-stage people counting technology but also laid the foundation for its subsequent evolution. [Challenges and Initiatives] - Technical Constraints - Pursuit of Accuracy - Utilization of Data *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Use Case] Visualization of Workplace Environment [Energy Saving / Carbon Neutral]

Managing multiple data on a single screen! Introducing a case where visualizing the workplace environment became possible through graphing.

We would like to introduce a case study where "ParaRecolectar" was used to visualize the workplace environment. In workplace environmental management, there was a significant burden due to the inability to conduct surveys on the labor environment, leading to inadequate management. "ParaRecolectar" can collect data such as temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure, allowing for easy comprehensive monitoring of the workplace environment through the installation of additional sensors. As a result, it has become possible to reduce the burden of surveys and promote measures and improvements. [Case Overview (Partial)] ■ Issues - Workplace environmental management is lagging behind - Uncertainty about appropriate measures ■ Effects - Promotion of energy conservation/carbon neutrality - Ensuring the safety of the labor environment *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
